"1941 years ago, the Romans conquered the ancient Jewish kingdom of Judea by force and attempted to expunge all memory of the Jews' claim to the land by renaming the area Palestine. Two days ago, Mahmoud Abbas attempted to do the same thing by diplomatic force at the UN.

The whole thing was of course a grotesque charade, outdone in its surrealism only by the reaction of the western world. For the UK and US governments and others said that such a unilateral declaration of independence was a setback for peace and a Palestinian state, which could only be achieved through negotiations between the Palestinians and Israel.

Not so. Negotiations do not have to be re-started in order to achieve this. If Abbas really wanted a state of Palestine to live in peace alongside Israel, he could have said a handful of words in New York which would have ended the conflict there and then and brought such a state into actual being.

For all that is needed is for Abbas to say, in Arabic as well as English, that he accepts the right of Israel to exist as the nation state of the Jewish people, and that his own people will no longer wage war against it. If he were to say that, and to match those words by deeds to show he meant them - for example, by ending the incitement in the educational materials and media under his command to hatred and murder of Jews and Israelis - there would be peace and a state of Palestine.

But this will never happen. For the dominant assumption in the west, the assumption that underpins virtually every political utterance on the subject and every interview on the BBC and the reporting even in notionally pro-Israel papers such as the Times or Telegraph that a state of Palestine would end the Middle East conflict, is not only wholly mistaken but is to mis-state that conflict.

For peace to be achieved, the belligerent has to stop making war. The Arabs have made war on the Jews in their ancient homeland since Israel became a state and indeed for three decades before that. For a solution to be arrived at, it's necessary correctly to state the problem. The problem is not the absence of a state of Palestine. The problem is that the Arabs want to get rid of Israel.

For anyone paying attention to the actual words used, the evidence was there in Abbas's own speech. His people, he declared, had been suffering for 63 years. What happened 63 years ago? The state of Israel came into being. So what Abbas was saying was not that the absence of a state of Palestine was the problem. The problem for him was the very existence of the state of Israel.

He also said:

'...we agreed to establish the State of Palestine on only 22 per cent of the territory of historical Palestine - on all the Palestinian Territory occupied by Israel in 1967.'

But the West Bank and Gaza were not 22 per cent of historical; Palestine; they were far, far less. It was Israel that was established on a fraction of 'historical Palestine', having settled for that fraction as better than nothing at all. And if the Palestinians truly had accepted a state merely in the West Bank and Gaza, why then did they refuse the offer of precisely such a state on more than 90 per cent of that territory which was made to them in 2000 and 2008? Why does the very Palestinian logo on their flags and insignia show a map of this state of Palestine to which they aspire as having swallowed up Israel altogether?

In Ramallah on September 16, Abbas made his position even plainer. 'The Palestinian people', he stated, 'have been abused for 63 years, generation after generation, under occupation'. No, it is the existence of Israel itself that is the problem which Abbas believes UN recognition of a state of Palestine would help resolve. It is Israel itself that Abbas wants to subsume into Palestine. In other words, as he himself has previously said, declaring UDI at the UN was a way of internationalising the conflict with Israel. UN recognition of a state of Palestine is therefore not a move towards peace but a signal for genocidal war.
The truly incredible bone-headedness (or worse) of the western response was encapsulated by a BBC Today programme interview on Friday morning with the UK's former ambassador to the UN, Sir Jeremy Greenstock. Sir Jeremy declared that a state of Palestine was 'not a threat to Israel', and that the Palestinians were 'desperate' to end the 'injustice' done to them and to restart negotiations.

Eh? What 'injustice'? The Palestinians are the ones waging war on Israel, not the other way round. What desperation, when they have repeatedly turned down the offer of a state? What keenness to re-start negotiations, when Israel repeatedly offers them negotiations and they repeatedly refuse?

Even worse, Sir Jeremy also said that what was much more important for Israel than a state of Palestine was not to imperil any further its relationship with other countries in the region such as Egypt, Turkey or Iran.

What?? Doesn't Sir Jeremy realise that the Palestinians are despised by every country in the region? Hasn't Sir Jeremy noticed that Turkey is now pursuing an Islamist agenda, with appalling implications not just for Israel but for the interests of the UK and the west, and that Egypt may well fall to the Islamists too? And as for Israel not upsetting Iran by its attitude to the Palestinians, hasn't Sir Jeremy Greenstock understood that Iran is threatening Israel with nuclear extinction because it is a Jewish state? On what planet is Sir Jeremy Greenstock living?

To anyone with a scintilla of knowledge of the nine-decade Arab and Islamic war against the Jews in the Middle East, Abbas's speech at the UN consisted of lie after lie after lie. He claimed that Israeli settlements in the West Bank were illegal and in breach of international law (untrue); he claimed that the settlements were in breach of the terms of negotiation (untrue; it is Abbas's own unilateral declaration which tears up successive bilateral treaties); he claimed that Israel was targeting Palestinian civilians in Gaza (untrue; Israeli attacks, which carefully avoid hitting civilians wherever possible, are only in defence of its civilians against Hamas attacks --with which Abbas has now publicly lined himself up, not least by hailing as 'martyrs' those in Gaza who murder Israelis).

As for his claim that the settlements were the reason there was no peace, this was demonstrably ridiculous. As Netanyahu said in his own fine speech at the UN:

'President Abbas ... said that the core of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the settlements. Well, that's odd. Our conflict has been raging for -- was raging for nearly half a century before there was a single Israeli settlement in the West Bank. So if what President Abbas is saying was true, then the -- I guess that the settlements he's talking about are Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jaffa, Be'er Sheva. Maybe that's what he meant the other day when he said that Israel has been occupying Palestinian land for 63 years. He didn't say from 1967; he said from 1948. I hope somebody will bother to ask him this question because it illustrates a simple truth: The core of the conflict is not the settlements. The settlements are a result of the conflict.'

History records that, from the 1930s onwards, the Jews have never stood in the way of a Palestinian state if that would end the war of annihilation the Arabs have continuously waged against them. A Palestine state has been on repeated offer. The Arab response has always been to refuse and instead to attempt to destroy the Jews' presence in their own ancient homeland. As certain Palestinian spokesmen themselves have acknowledged, Palestinian identity was itself constructed purely to destroy Israel. The reason for the objection to a state of Palestine is that it would be used to bring about the final destruction of Israel as a Jewish state, an aspiration which Abbas never ceases to proclaim.

As Netanyahu said in his speech:

'We believe that the Palestinians should be neither the citizens of Israel nor its subjects. They should live in a free state of their own. But they should be ready, like us, for compromise. And we will know that they're ready for compromise and for peace when they start taking Israel's security requirements seriously and when they stop denying our historical connection to our ancient homeland.

I often hear them accuse Israel of Judaizing Jerusalem. That's like accusing America of Americanizing Washington, or the British of Anglicizing London. You know why we're called "Jews"? Because we come from Judea."'

What Israel should be stating explicitly and repeatedly is that it is the Jews who are the indigenous people of what are now Israel and the West Bank - and indeed beyond. Commentators often refer to Judea and Samaria as 'Biblical' names as if they can therefore be disregarded today. Not so. Judea and Samara were the true historical names for Israel and the West Bank, used in international treaties and official documents of the Palestine Mandate period, and throughout which land the Jews were given the legal right to settle. Only now as the west mimics the Arab attempt to airbrush the Jews out of their own history have these names become synonymous with Jewish extremism.

What really illustrates the west's moral bankruptcy over Israel and the Palestinians is that the day before the Abbas charade, the very same UN gave the stage to Iran's Ahmadinejad from where he spouted his murderous lies and hatred of the west, including his implication that 9/11 was a US conspiracy. This is the leader of a regime which executes teenagers for homosexuality and which is developing nuclear weapons to commit genocide against Israel and hold the western world hostage.

Yet far from expressing outrage at this use of the UN by such a man, far from drawing attention indeed to the utter suicidal madness of having the UN as a global policeman when its own Security Council is now chaired by Lebanon, a country in thrall to Iran through Hezbollah, the appearance of Ahmadinejad elicited barely a shrug by western media which instead worked themselves into a frenzy over Abbas and the 'plight' of the Palestinians.

Netanyahu again called it right. He said the world was menaced by a malignancy.

'That malignancy is militant Islam. It cloaks itself in the mantle of a great faith, yet it murders Jews, Christians and Muslims alike with unforgiving impartiality. On September 11th it killed thousands of Americans, and it left the twin towers in smouldering ruins. Last night I laid a wreath on the 9/11 memorial. It was deeply moving. But as I was going there, one thing echoed in my mind: the outrageous words of the president of Iran on this podium yesterday. He implied that 9/11 was an American conspiracy. Some of you left this hall. All of you should have.'

Netanyahu called the UN a 'theatre of the absurd' and the 'house of lies'. The western media mostly didn't bother to report that, just as they didn't bother to report much of his speech. What they are really waiting for is for the Palestinians to resume attacking Israelis as a sign of their 'desperation'. They won't report those attacks either. But they will report the Israelis' response and call that 'aggression'. That's the prospect over which the western media, sensing a final kill, are now slavering".

POLICE TELL CAFE OWNER TO STOP SHOWING BIBLE DVD'S OR FACE ARREST!!!

This was the headline on page nine of "The Mail On Sunday" this weekend, as this national newspaper did a full two page spread on the outrageous events happening in this so-called "Christian" country of ours!!

Jamie Murray runs the "Salt and Light" cafe in Blackpool and likes to display Christian and Bible texts on a DVD screen behind his counter, with the volume turned OFF. Despite this, one single complaint from one lesbian woman protesting against the well known anti-homosexual verses in Romans 1: 26-28, led Jamie to being threatened with arrest unless he turned his DVD off.

He did comply on this one particular day, but thanks to the assistance of the lawyers of The Christian Institute, Jamie has now started to display the texts once again, as it is perfectly legal to do so, and the police are taking no further action at present! Praise the Lord!

On the same page, "The Mail On Sunday" highlight the campaign led by the former Archbishop of Canterbury, Lord Carey, which is pressing David Cameron and the government for greater legal protection for Christians who have been sacked for following their consciences, when a group of test cases are heard by the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg next month.

The cases include those of Shirley Chaplin, a Devon nurse banned from working on the wards after she failed to hide a cross she had worn since she was 16. Secondly is the case of Gary MacFarlane who was sacked as a Relate counsellor after suggesting he would refuse to provide sexual therapy to gay couples. Thirdly, the judges will also examine the case of Nadia Eweida, a check-in clerk for British Airways, who was told to remove her small crucifx at work. And fourthly, the case of registrar Lilian Ladele, who lost her job at Islington Town Hall in North London, after refusing to officiate at civil partnerships.

Lord Carey is leading the campaign along with 150,000 other campaigners from the lobby group Christian Concern, and they have written to the Prime Minister calling on the government to back new safeguards for Christian believers.

The Mail on Sunday also devoted their front page story, and most of page eight to ridiculing the BBC (the Biased Broadcasting Company), for starting to promote all of their television programmes with the dedicated date bylines of BCE and CE instead of the traditional BC and AD.

These precious icons have stood the test of time for over seventy years, and are meant to represent the fact that in "Christian Britain" we date our calender by the Bible and time of Christ. However, the head of religious broadcasting at the BBC is now a muslim, and gradually Christianity is being sidelined, and even nullified by this very biased organisation.

Thank God for "The Mail on Sunday" and the stance they have taken this past weekend. They have stood out from the rest of the national press, and the other national media, and have boldly proclaimed their stance on the true values of Christianity over these very important issues. In an ever deteriorating and declining world, where Christian values and morals are being eroded more and more on a daily basis, we give thanks to the Lord for this newspaper for standing up for our rights as Christians in this sad, modern age in which we live.

THE CRUCIAL MONTH OF SEPTEMBER DRAWS EVEN CLOSER!

SEPTEMBER PROMISES TO BE A VERY CRUCIAL MONTH THIS YEAR!

In September, the United Nations General Assembly will consider a much anticipated resolution that would recognize a Palestinian State. ­This may come packaged with the dividing of Israel, the returning to pre-1967 borders, and will in all likelihood move Jerusalem's boundaries. ­Suffice it to say, this would fulfill a myriad of prophecies, one of which was recorded by Zechariah (12:1-3), regarding Jerusalem becoming a burdensome stone for the nations of the earth.

The United Nations are poised to vote in favour of creating a new Palestinian state, much to the chagrin of the Jewish people. There are often signs from the Lord of awesome judgment if the nations of the world move against His beloved Israel and Jerusalem.

Look what happened to Norway almost to the day their Prime Minister said he wanted Norway to be the first country to recognize a Palestinian state! The bombings and slayings illustrate what can happen to a people, when God's protection is removed from a nation who become so opposed to the plans of the Almighty.

Norway were one of the first countries to recognise the new nation of Israel back in 1948, but now the friendship has virtually disappeared. Back in February the Norwegian government gave the Israeli Embassy twelve months to move out of Oslo, knowing that it would be virtually impossible for them to find new landlords who are sympathetic to the Jewish cause.

The following article about Norway and their love for a terrorist who tried to bomb Israel is mind numbing!  Norway has been taken over by the Hard Left and is the leading anti-semitic country in Europe. When the UN meets in September to discuss the possibility of a Palestiinian state, other events on the prophetic calendar are taking place.

In September, Egypt commences its first election since ousting President Hosni Mubarak, making a takeover by the anti-semitic Muslim Brotherhood a real possibility. ­Pre-supposing that this happens this September, it has the propensity to put the puzzle pieces of Bible prophecy in place as it relates to Israel. ­A close look at Isaiah 19: 1-4 offers some very intriguing events which seem to reveal Biblical predictions coming true before our very eyes. Verse four warns Egypt in particular, and the world at large, of a despot to arrive on the scene: "I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them" decalres the Lord, the LORD Almighty" (NIV). If not the antichrist, certainly a forerunner of him!

Also in September, what's being dubbed as "Comet Elenin" will enter into our inner­solar system and pass between the Earth and the Sun. ­Some are speculating and predicting that it may in fact be a what's called a "Dwarf Star," or even a planet, which if it is will bring darkness. ­What's interesting is not only when it happens; September 28th, but for how long it happens; three days! This has a Biblical significance.

Ed Vallowe in his book, "Biblical Mathematics, Keys to Scripture Numeric's," says; "Three is the number of resurrection, divine completeness and perfection. ...The number three is very prominent in the three­fold ascriptions in the Book of Revelation. Jesus Christ is spoken of as 'He which is and was and is to come".

­What's even more intriguing is the Biblical significance of the three days of darkness that Elenin causes, chief of which was at the crucifixion. ­There were three hours of darkness the day Jesus was crucified. Subsequent to the crucifixion He spent three days in the darkness of Hades. ­The Apostle Paul was blind and in darkness for three days, and the plague of darkness that struck Egypt in the Exodus, lasted for three days.

­Some argue the Rapture of the Church can't be on the Feast of Trumpets because Matthew 24:36 says we can't know the day or the hour. ­Actually, yes it can, here's why; Jesus used a Jewish idiom for the feast of Trumpets when He said that "no man knows the day or the hour." ­The Jews were unable to identify the exact start of the new moon which would begin the Feast of Trumpets, so it was celebrated for "3" days.

­It was for this reason that the Priests had to always be watching, and be ready, for the new moon in Jerusalem so they could blow the trumpet. ­When the trumpet sounded the feast began, but they all had to be ready, for they knew not the day nor the hour that the trumpet would sound. ­OK, can't today's technology pinpoint the moon's exact position? Usually Yes, but not if Comet Elenin brings darkness, and it would therefore be as a thief in the night!

Elenin is said to have a debris trail of around a million miles which it will pull through with it when it passes, allegedly, only 23 million miles from the earth. Also it is said to exhibit such pull on the earth that it has caused earthquakes in the past from a greater distance. There is a possibility of three days darkness, with earth being hit with debris that it pulls along in its wake, and with the sun being blocked by dust caused by massive upheaval resulting from major tidal waves, high pressure volcanoes, earthquakes, etc.

Some prophecy buffs are stating that if these three days of darkness come to fruition, Israel may well take advantage of the opportunity by "getting their retaliation in first", and attack their sworn enemies of Hizbollah, Hamas, and Iran. The prophecy of Psalm 83 is looming on the horizon, as the Jewish state is surrounded by enemies demanding their total destruction.   

Also as the UN meets for the final session it will be the Hebrew Feast of Trumpets. As Elenin crosses the earth's orbit on October 16th it will be smack in the middle of the Feast of Tabernacles. Then we enter the comet's tail, which again many are speculating could case problems for the nations.

Either way if the council votes for a Palestinian state and the Security council (who have the final say) vote NO, there will be a war, or an uprising at the least against Israel.

If the security council vote YES,  you will have an uprising or a war because Israel will refuse to obey such a suicidal demand!!

God will not be mocked! His promises will come true for "the apple of His eye", His chosen people, and He will protect them during any impending battle or war. If this is the prelude to the prophetic Psalm, rejoice that it will be the Jews who emerge victorious.

Either way, the month of September is sure to provide some exciting events this year!

WHY WON'T THEY LISTEN?

Understanding the Times by Jan Markell is the latest engrossing article from this prolific and respected Christian author from Olive Tree Ministries. We repeat it here for your interest and encouragement:

"A repeated theme coming into this office by e-mail is that loved ones - friends and family - will not listen when discerning people try to tell them about our world today. If a reference is made to end-time activity, people will often scoff and literally brush them away. Some just don't have ears to hear about any current issue. While this has always been the case, it seems to be accelerated today. And this is happening when issues are so serious you would think it would help people carry out their lives more effectively if they only understood the times from a biblical perspective.

Yes, the issues of the day are unsettling. A Muslim wanted to explode a WMD but was caught recently in Texas. Jihadists are everywhere. Syria is being armed to the teeth by Iran and Russia. A coming conflagration in the Middle East is imminent. America's economy is now further damaged by soaring prices. Will this country ever recover from what has been done to it by greedy and evil people? This issue alone has caused many to tune out and drop out. It is too tragic to watch this nation be eaten away by corruption and by some elected officials who do not seek America's good.

But I believe there are a whole host of reasons why folks have closed their ears. Let me list a few options and suggestions that may help those of you who feel rejected for simply sharing the truth:

• As referenced above, the news today is too violent, frightening, troubling, and even shocking. Many want their minds and hearts to dwell on safer and more uplifting issues. Detaching from reality is a coping mechanism. There are many compassionate people. To keep hearing about wars, pain, suffering, injustice, weapons of mass destruction, persecution, jihad, and so much more breaks their hearts and spirits.
• Some have programmed themselves as though they were living "in the days of Noah." Nobody wanted to listen then either. The last generation is compared to the days of Noah. Are we the last? We do not know. It would seem things are winding down and yet things could go on for decades.
• Some have an end-time theology that says all believers will experience the worst of things outlined in the Bible. We will go through the Tribulation and even be here for the battle of Armageddon. While this is debatable to many, the real issue for all believers is how much will we have to go through before these events? Many don't believe in a rapture of the church. Others believe that will take place at the very end of the Tribulation or in the middle of it. They do not have that "blessed hope." While this ministry does not believe the church goes through the Tribulation, the purpose of this column is not to debate that. It is sad this issue has become so divisive. Arguing this, and often not in a friendly manner, is one of the most frequent communications we get. Church pulpits are silent on these topics and thus confusion and doubt reign.
• The greatest sign people need to watch is Israel. Yet Replacement Theology (that the church has replaced the nation of Israel) dominates our churches today. Thus, many are left clueless that the countdown has begun. They feel life will go on for hundreds of years. There is nothing unusual about our generation. Believers who point to Israel, Middle East war, and related issues, are just "the sky is falling" people. We have always had wars and rumors of war they state.
• There are enough pleasures in this life, so eternity can wait. They cannot listen to events that may touch their loved ones. What mother wants to contemplate horrors coming upon her children?
• Many today are seduced by false teachers promising a perfect world (Dominion/Kingdom Now theology) that the church can and will bring in. Seeing and hearing about instability, the Middle East in chaos, a coming financial meltdown, and coming trials, doesn't fit their biblical agenda. Some of them believe in a global revival yet and wish to focus on that. While there are pockets of revival today, the Bible indicates judgment faces the earth some day.
• Many know they are not right with God. They figure at the end of life they may do something about this. Right now, they want to enjoy life and tune out the world's troubles.
• Some do not know the Bible well enough to understand that God takes care of His own. He will never leave us or forsake us. That does not mean, however, that we might not have to go through some serious things. John Loeffler has produced an excellent DVD we sell, The Coming Persecution of Christians in the West.

Reality can break all of our hearts. We are not weak or immature Christians because we ache for the world. But suffice it to say that all creation is groaning as we wait the return of the King of Kings to set this world free from bondage, sin, and sorrow.

In eternity, I first want to meet Noah. He preached his heart out, admittedly not with the Internet, Facebook, Twitter, or a sound system. But even in his corner of the world, mankind ignored him for 120 years. Finally, the ark door closed. Plugging the ears to the wise words of many today will bring about a disaster for some. So don't give up!

If Jesus Christ is not your Lord and Savior today, please don't run away from the truth-tellers. You only need to repent of your sins and invite Him to be the Lord and Savior of your life. This frightening world will be much less scary if you will do that. Then you can focus on eternity a lot more and deal with this throbbing planet more effectively.

Having said all of the above, one thing is certain: There is no time like the present to share the gospel! Millions of unbelievers are drowning their sorrows, fear, and uncertainty in destructive behavior. You might be surprised how open they are to hear the truth of the gospel. Or they may shun you but hide your words in their heart and act on them later when their life or the world falls apart. We are always to be ready with an answer for everyone. Their response is not your responsibility.

The Bible tells us that the world will implode eventually. It has nothing to do with the Mayans and their 2012 calendar suggestion! Everything has an end, but for the Christian, the end begins a glorious future! I can hardly wait. I hope to meet you all there! Your prayers for this ministry and me are greatly appreciated".

THE "WORD OF FAITH" MOVEMENT, BIRTHED IN THE BOWELS OF HELL.

Before joining the Prophetic Witness Movement several years ago, my wife Hazel, and I, were attracted to the ministry of Andrew Wommack through God TV.

He seemed a lovely man, and a great teacher, and as we were not getting much good ministry from our local church, we went to his seminars in Walsall for three successive years on his annual visit to the UK. We also bought his tapes and books, and were being seduced into his type of ministry, without knowing the real underlying heresies behind it. 

I only write this short article to warn other believers who can easily be swayed into believing about "another Jesus", the one proclaimed by the Word of Faith movement in its many guises.

If you watch God TV, Daystar, TBN, or even Revelation TV, you are bound to have come across the likes of Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Marilyn Hickey, Rodney Browne, Charles Capps, Paul Crouch and his family, Jensen Franklin, Joseph Prince, Jerry Savelle, Jesse Duplantis, Keith Moore, and many others.

When you see these personalities asking for money time and time again, they are lining their own pockets, and have all become dollar millionaires and above.

Andrew Wommack is not always mentioned in the same categories as these heretics, for he is not "money-mad" like the others and very rarely appears in the many telethons to raise even more money!

But he was schooled in the Kenneth Hagin and Kenneth Copeland "Word of Faith" (Name It And Claim It) type of ministry, and he gives out a very similar message, but cloaked in a much more attractive and pleasant manner than that of his predecessors, and current day so-called tele-evangelists!

This PUTRID, REPULSIVE teaching was made popular by hyper- heretical Charismatics such as E.W. Kenyon, Joyce Meyer, Paul Crouch, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin, Fred Price, Creflo Dollar, Charles Capps, and Benny Hinn.

AND SOME HAVE THE UNMITIGATED GALL TO CALL IT "CHRISTIAN"??? Much of what has been puked out of the hyper-Charismatic movement is cultic, and spewed from the mouths of enemies of the cross of Christ.

For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH (1 Peter 2:21-22, emp, theirs, NASB).Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin (1 John 3:4-5, emp. added).  

Can one believe he or she is a "god" and be a Christian? Can one believe that Jesus was "born again" and be a Christian? Can one deny the deity of Jesus Christ and be a Christian? The answer to all three questions is, NO!

Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward in heaven is great; for in the same way they persecuted the prophets

who were before you (Matthew 5:10-12).

Don't be surprised at what spews out of the Word of Faith-hyper-Charismatic movement in the future. We "ain't" seen nothing yet! In the meantime, remain strong in the Lord and the truth of His written word, and defend the faith--once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3)

HUGE AMOUNTS OF GAS AND OIL FOUND IN ISRAEL!

THE WORLD BOYCOTTS ISRAEL; GOD BLESSES HER WITH GAS AND OIL!

Here is David Silver's (Out Of Zion Ministries) Comment To All Boycotters of Israel:

"Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless thee, I will curse those who make light of you".

As I wrote in last week's comment, to appease the Muslims, most of the rest of the world is increasingly turning against Israel. In a futile attempt to punish and harm Israel financially, universities, trade unions, business corporations, media corporations and even professing Bible believing Christian denominations are already, or threatening to, BOYCOTT Israel made products and Israeli organisations.

When I first heard these calls for BOYCOTTS just after the Gaza war of 2009, I was very concerned for the future of Israel's economy. But I need not have been concerned.

In the same week as the God haters were making their anti-Semitic voices heard, we received news of a very large natural gas and oil find 50 miles off the coast of Haifa. Upon hearing that news, my heart leapt for joy and I said "thank you LORD" as I realised the God of Israel had everything under control and Israel didn't need to worry about the BOYCOTTS.

However a few weeks later we were told the report of the size of the gas and oil field was wrong - it was BIGGER than first thought ! A few weeks later we were told they were wrong again - it is even BIGGER !

Now they are saying it is indeed one of the largest fields of natural gas ever discovered.

It is now being reported that there is 16 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and about 4 billion barrels of oil under the sea-bed off the coast of Haifa and Hadera. They also recently announced the discovery of an oil field in the centre of the country and another oil field under the sand of the desert in southern Israel. There could be several billion barrels of oil in each of these locations.

Now we are hearing reports of the discovery of a massive deposit of oil shale. That is a kind of rock that contains oil inside of it. To extract the oil from the rock usually involves a process that is very damaging to the environment and requires enormous quantities of water, which Israel doesn't have. However it seems Israel has invented a new process which separates the oil from the shale while it is still deep underground, eliminating pollution and environmental damage, and rather than using water, actually produces water.

It was first reported that there are 4 billion barrels of oil in the shale, but now they say it could be 250 billion barrels. Israel may have as much if not more oil than Saudi Arabia - a fact that will have a major political impact in the Middle East and further afield.

In the next few years, Israel will not only become energy self-sufficient, Israel will become a major energy exporter.

Our God Reigns !!! - and it seems He is preparing to make His nation of Israel a force to be reckoned with in every way as He prepares to re-establish His terrestial Kingdom headquarters in Jerusalem, the undivided capital city of Israel.

Not the capital of Palestine and not the shared capital of a "Two State Solution" !

So come on ALL you BOYCOTTERS - be my guest - BOYCOTT Israel !!! But if you are going to do so, please do it properly!

GIVE UP your cell phones,

GIVE UP your computers,

GIVE UP your memory sticks,

GIVE UP most of your medicines and medical imaging equipment,

GIVE UP your remote controls,

GIVE UP much of your music, movies & literature, and go back to live in the Dark Ages.

Come on now Mr & Ms BOYCOTTER - dont be a two faced hypocrite - if it comes from Israel or the Jewish people GIVE IT UP !.

Better still REPENT and ask the God of Israel for forgiveness and start to bless Israel instead.

Now to all the faithful friends of Israel ........... the best is yet to come. You have been grafted in to the Olive Tree of Israel (Rom 11:17) and will forever be a fellow citizen (Eph 2:19) of the only country that has any hope for the future. (Jer 30:11, Joel 3:1, Isaiah 60:12)

THE LATE GREAT DAVID WILKERSON DIES SUDDENLY!

EVANGELICAL ICON DAVID WILKERSON DIES IN CAR CRASH NEAR DALLAS. 

The Christian Icon, Evangelist, Teacher and Author David Wilkerson, who wrote the popular book "The Cross and the Switchblade" and founded New York's Times Square Church, has died in a traffic accident on Wednesday April 27th. 

Wilkerson, 79, died after his car slammed into a tractor-trailer on a highway about 95 miles southeast of Dallas, according to The Associated Press. His wife, Gwen, was also injured but is expected to recover.

Wilkerson was known most for his outreach to street gangs, which he started after viewing a photo in Life magazine of New York City teens charged with murder.

He founded Teen Challenge, a ministry to young gang members and drug addicts, in New York in 1959. In 1963, he co-authored his best-selling story, which Christianity Today magazine listed in 2006 in the No. 32 spot on its "Top 50 Books That Have Shaped Evangelicals."

Wilkerson was an Assemblies of God pastor in rural Pennsylvania before starting his New York ministries, including the nondenominational Times Square Church that meets in a converted Broadway theater.

"The kingdom of God has lost a giant of the faith. His life touched millions," said Assemblies of God General Superintendent George O. Wood, in a statement. "He was godly, humble and represented everything that is best in a spiritual leader."

Wilkerson's last blog post, on Wednesday, addressed the inevitability of death.

"To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights," he wrote, "and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, `I am with you. I cannot tell you why right now, but one day it will all make sense. You will see it was all part of my plan. It was no accident".

The world at large, and the Christian family in particular, has lost a great man of God. But we rejoice that he has gone home to be with his Lord and Saviour, who he has served so faithfully for many, many years.

Heaven is a better place for his presence, and the earth feels his loss with great sadness. But we will meet again one day soon, when the Lord Jesus Christ returns to unite His beloved Church at the Rapture.

EVERY MIDDLE EAST KING WILL FALL, PREDICTS PASTOR LINDSEY WILLIAMS

President Barack Obama is backing Al Qaeda in Libya, according to the controversial but ever popular American preacher and author, Pastor Lindsey Williams.

He tells us to pay attention to what is happening in the Middle East (as if we did not already)!

He says first of all it was Egypt, the next will be Libya, then Syria and that we are also close to a conflict with Saudi Arabia, as well.

His "buzz words" are the "Muslim Brotherhood", for he says that one nation after the other is being turned over in the Middle East to the Muslim Brotherhood, where they will establish Sharia Law.

He says that Egypt will fall to the Muslim Brotherhood in the upcoming elections. The same will happen in Libya, he predicts. Then Syria will fall in identical fashion.

Last of all, he says, Saudi Arabia will follow suit!

All of the Arab Monarchies will be overthrown, one after the other, as the New World Order begins to come to fruition. 

As a consequence, crude oil will rise to $200 per barrel initially, and even then will rise further to around $300, to start fresh riots, which the NWO need to address, and ultimately take control.

Gold, he says, will go to $3000 and silver $300 an ounce because the "elite", in order to have a new world currency, have to back it with gold and silver.

Do not dare sell your gold and silver, says Pastor Williams, for you have not seen anything yet!!

He also states that Hillary Clinton has met with the Muslim Brotherhood and arranged that every country toppled by the New World Order under the guise of humanitarian compassion will be handed over to them to control according to the controversial Pastor. 

The last country to fall will be Saudi Arabia and with the continual conflict up to that point pushing oil prices to $200 a barrel the middle classes will be further impoverished.

CHRISTIAN MAN PERSECUTED FOR HAVING A CROSS ON HIS DASHBOARD

It has been heart-warming to see the "Mail On Sunday" (initially) followed by the national TV news stations defending the rights of a 64 year old grandfather, and former soldier, to display a Christian cross on the dashboard on his company van.

Colin Atkinson, is a qualified electrician who has worked for the Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) for over fifteen years, with an unblemished record. Now, the company are threatening to sack him for refusing to remove the cross from the company vehicle!

He has displayed the cross for all of the time in his employment with the WDH, but because of one small anonymous letter of complaint, he has been asked to take it off display. Somehow it NOW "breaches" company rules, but NOT in the previous fifteen years!

Colin is standing up for Christian faith in this dark and dismal area of political correctness gone mad, and he is willing to lose his job over it, knowing that if he is dismissed for disciplinary grounds, he will lose his right to financial compensation. And at 64, he will also find it difficult to get another job.

Colin is quoted as saying, "The treatment of Christians in this country is becoming diabolical.....but I will stand up for my faith".

His union is supporting Colin, as is the Christian Legal Centre, plus many  friends and colleagues, some of whom have no religious beliefs at all, and some of whom are Muslims and Sikhs.

His boss, Mr Denis Doody is a committed Communist, however, and he is allowed to adorn "his company office" with pictures of Che Guevara, and many quotes by the Marxist guerrilla leader, such is the hypocrisy of WDH. 

Another spokeswoman for the company, Jayne O'Connell, the Equality and Diversity Manager, said that they would allow a Muslim woman to work there wearing the full BURKA and veil, but poor old Colin is not allowed to display a simple eight inch hand-made cross of palm leaves!

This is just the latest of many cases where committed Christians have been persecuted for wearing Christian jewellery, crosses and other emblems; hoteliers are taken to court for refusing beds to homosexual couples; street preachers are arrested for criticising sodomy; and all sorts of mayhem follow if you dare to criticise Mohammad or the Koran.

At least on this occasion the Mail on Sunday, and the national television news are supporting the Christian involved. This is becoming more and more rare, however, in these depressive days of anti-Christian and anti-Semetic attacks.

We need to hold fast and pray. The Bible warns us that we will be persecuted for our faith in these latter days of the Lord's end time programme. But take heart, and look up, for our redemption draws ever nearer!

GOOD NEWS:

As a lovely follow-up to the above article, just before Good Friday the Wakefield and District Housing bowed to enormous pressure from just about every angle possible.
Colin was re-instated to his job, after a period of "gardening leave", the threat of being sacked was lifted, he is allowed to display the cross in his van, but there are several conditions imposed on his re-instatement!

He has been "gagged" by the WDH, and he is not allowed to comment on the situation, and neither is his Union or other represenatives who attended the disciplinary hearing. Failure to do so will bring back into play, the threat of further punitive actions.

It is certainly a victory for our Christian position, and the right to display emblems and jewellery advertising our faith in the Risen Lord Jesus Christ. But it is also very sad that Colin and his wife suffered health problems as they fought their case, and the WDH only retreated after enormous pressure from employees, friends, colleagues, Christian organisations, other faith organisations, politicians, union representation, and other sources.

And even now, Colin and his Union are not allowed to talk about it.
We give thanks to God for this victory, but we are still very sad that Christians are becoming more and more persecuted for standing up for their faith in these latter times.

THE WAR OF PSALM 83 LOOMS EVER CLOSER ON THE HORIZON

The KJV of the Bible states, "Come and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance" regarding the confederacy of nations surrounding the Jewish homeland.

Nearly three thousand years later, and the rhetoric is still the same, as the modern enemies of the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Ahmadinejad of Iran bellow out similar sentiments on a regular basis.

Consider the fact that all of the following nations we will be listing from Psalm 83, which are prophesied to be defeated, are all Islamic nations whether they be Sunnis, Shias, or Wahhabis. The Koran is the spiritual foundation on which they stand, and as this rejects both Jesus as the Messiah, and Israel as the chosen people of Jehovah, they will have to pay serious consequences!

The ancient peoples of Edom and Amalek resided in the areas of what is presently known as Southern Jordan, and the lower region of the Gaza strip.

The Ishmaelites were located in the Northern region of modern day Arabia, and the area surrounding the modern Arab Emirates. Ammon was an ancient nation located east of the Jordan River, near Gilead and the Dead Sea in Jordan. Moab is also part of modern day Jordan.

The Hagarenes find their roots through their mother who was Hagar, Abraham's maidservant from Egypt, who conceived Ishmael. Also perhaps the area of Sudan might be included here, when considering its ancient affiliation with Egypt.

Gebal and Tyre are Lebanon. The modern day Philistines would find their assimilation in the stretch of land known as Gaza,  which Israel gave back to them in 2005.

Assur and the children of Lot are Iraq, along with Jordan, joined in a special relationship according to this prophecy.

The name of Asssur must also include modern day Syria. This fact is supported by numerous other passages of Scripture. Assur, or Assyria, was the powerful ancient world power formed by the uniting of Babylon (Iraq) and Syria. Both of these nations were bitter enemies up until the Persian Gulf War in 1990. Today this is no longer true, and they join in unison with Iran as declaring themselves sworn enemies of Israel.

We need to pray for these deceived people of Psalm 83, who are willing to plunge headfirst into a firestorm of the fury of the Almighty. They will not survive. They will be comprehensively defeated.

It is very interesting to note that these enemies of Israel listed in Psalm 83 are nowhere to be seen when it comes to the Gog and Magog War of Ezekiel 38 and 39. Why, you may ask? Because, in all probability, they will not exist as a war-machine, such will be there catastrophic defeat, and they will have no armies to supplement the Ezekiel invasion from the North.

The prophecy of Isaiah 17:1 is still to be fulfilled where Syria's capital city Damascus is totally destroyed, and this too will probably take place in this up-coming battle of Psalm 83.

The Middle East is a powder keg at the moment, with peace on a knife edge. The Islamic countries which surround Israel want them wiped off the face of the earth. Even Egypt, one of Israel's few friends, is in danger of falling to the Muslim Brotherhood following the recent uprising. Another former friend, Turkey to the north, has also now abandoned Israel.

There are so many uprisings, riots, wars, rumours of wars, major conflicts in the Middle East at the moment, that the powder keg could very soon explode into violent action. If this is the case, read Psalm 83 again and take heart. Israel will not be destroyed, for Jehovah God is with them, and this tiny little state in the heart of the former land of Palestine formed in May 1948, will not leave the maps of the world again.

This is the land where Jesus will return to at His Second Advent. It will not be Rome, London or New York. The Bible is quite explicit about this. It will be the Mount of Olives, in Jerusalem, in Israel. World events are moving at a rapid pace these days. If these events are getting closer and closer on the horizon, how soon will be the Rapture of the Church to the heavenly places to be the Bride of Christ?

WE EXPECT THE ANTI-CHRIST WHO THE BIBLE SPEAKS OF, BUT THE SHIITE MUSLIMS EXPECT THEIR MAHDI.

The leaders of Iran are pushing the idea of a coming Islamic saviour...the Mahdi, the 12th Imam.

Amadinejahd the President of Iran believes the Mahdi's coming is imminent and as a result the government of Iran are promoting a movie urging Muslims, both Sunni and Shiite to expect his coming at any moment. They believe the current unrest in the Middle East is a precursor to the Mahdi's appearance.
