AN UPDATE ON THE HEALTH PROGRESS OF OUR GOOD FRIEND PAUL WILKINSON, WITH NOTES FROM HIS PASTOR ANDREW ROBINSON, AND FROM PAUL HIMSELF.

HAZEL GROVE FULL GOSPEL CHURCH 68, LONDON ROAD, HAZEL GROVE, STOCKPORT, MANCHESTER, SK7 4AF.
Tel: 0161 456 8393. Reg. Charity No. 10151785

Dear Praying Friends,

It is with grateful thanks to God that I bring you this report. Paul is settled in his new home, his
late-grandfather’s bungalow, which is directly opposite his parent’s home. On Sept 19th the steel
cast and clips were removed from his forearm. He met with the surgeon who said there is a floating
mass in the elbow which needs to be removed. Paul will have a follow-up consultation next
month. He has started physiotherapy and is making slow but steady progress. Due to the metal
plates, Paul has little movement in his forearm although he can move his fingers, praise the Lord.

He has two rods in his hip and leg, one of which runs the full length of his femur, but he should
soon be off his crutch and onto a walking stick. Paul is still in quite a lot of pain but has a very
positive attitude. He witnesses to the district nurses and physiotherapists who attend him regularly
at home and has been able to attend the last two Sunday morning services which has been a
great joy. Last week, Paul took the children’s talk, which was a real blessing.

Your brother in Christ Jesus,
Andrew Robinson.

Dear Friends,

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks for all the cards emails and gifts
which I have received since my accident last month. The Lord is so wonderfully
and graciously upholding me at this time and opening up so many opportunities
to share the good news of Jesus with people I would never have
met had this not happened.

The love and concern shown to me by my
brothers and sisters in Christ, not only in this country but overseas, has
been a source of great encouragement. I am not yet strong enough to resume
ministry and may have a long way to go in my recovery – the Lord
knows – and so pastor Andrew Robinson will continue to oversee my correspondence
for the time being.

As the Apostle Paul declares, we serve a
God “who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think"
(Ephesians 3:20). I look forward with renewed zeal and determination to all
that the Lord has prepared for my future, with complete confidence that “He who began a good
work in us will be faithful to complete it on the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 4:6). May God
bless you all for your love and concern.

Your brother in the Lord, Paul Wilkinson.

"MASS MURDER AND MORAL BLINDNESS" BY THE IMPRESSIVE FREELANCE AUTHOR, MELANIE PHILLIPS.

In response to the Nairobi atrocity, in which the Somali Islamic terrorist outfit al Shabab murdered at least 62 people in a shopping mall and injured at least 170 after separating out the non-Muslims and then killing them, the British Prime Minister, David Cameron said:

‘These appalling terrorist attacks that take place where the perpetrators claim they do it in the name of a religion - they don’t. They do it in the name of terror, violence and extremism and their warped view of the world. They don’t represent Islam or Muslims in Britain or anywhere else in the world.’
Oh dear.
You know what he’s trying to say. He’s trying to make the necessary point that countless Muslims in Britain and elsewhere abhor such attacks. It is indeed important not to tar all Muslims with the same murderous brush. But the rest of his statement is simply false. Not just false, but also potentially lethal.
All attacks by Islamic terrorist groups are very explicitly made in the name of a religion. The perpetrators may recite Koranic verses, scream ‘Allahu akhbar’, declare they are acting in the name of God, proclaim Islamic holy war or single out non-Muslims for slaughter. These characteristics are all clues that such people act in the name of a religion.
The specific causes for which Islamic terrorist groups commit mass murder vary from country to country – Bosnia, Chechnya, Kashmir, Israel, al Qaeda incursions in the Horn of Africa, and so on. But they all have one thing in common. They are all carried out in the name of Islam. This is another clue that such people act in the name of a religion.
The jihad against ‘unbelievers’ has deep roots in Islamic theology and is mandated in all four schools of Islamic jurisprudence. This too is another clue that such terrorists act in the name of a religion.
If none of these facts convinces, then the terrible events of this week should surely show them all too clearly to be true. For on the same day as the Nairobi atrocity, Taleban human bombs blew up a church in Peshawar, killing 81 Christian worshippers and wounding about 140.
There was no local political ‘grievance’ behind this attack – merely the desire to murder as many Christians as possible on the basis that these were ‘enemies of Islam’.
This terrible atrocity follows countless attacks by Islamists on Christians in Africa: forcing them to flee their homes, converting them at gunpoint or burning them alive in their churches. What an amazing coincidence, Prime Minister, that the Nairobi attackers and the Peshawar bombers and similar persecutors of Christians in the Third World, no to mention al Qaeda and other similar groups attacking the west, are all waging the same holy war in the name of the same religion!
Mr Cameron’s mistake is to articulate the absurd non-sequitur parroted by so many in the British ruling class: that because many Muslims do not endorse Islamic terrorism, ergo such terrorism is not truly perpetrated in the name of Islam. This is as nonsensical as saying that because many Christians were the victims of the Spanish Inquisition, the Spanish Inquisition could not have been truly perpetrated in the name of Christianity; or that because most Jews are not ultra-Orthodox, the ultra-Orthodox are not truly Jews; or even that because most women are not man-hating feminists, man-hating feminists are not really women.
And this confusion is lethal. Those who cannot even bring themselves to call the force that is attacking them by its proper name will be defeated by that force. The Islamists know that; which is why such a reaction guarantees more such attacks. Moral blindness and mass murder are locked in a fatal embrace like a drowning couple in a whirlpool.

ALAN FRANKLIN FROM "THE FREE PRESS ONLINE" SPEAKING ON "THE REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE" AT ZION CHURCH, TALYWAIN, PONTYPOOL ON SATURDAY, THE 21ST SEPT

ALAN FRANKLIN CAME TO OUR ZION CHURCH HERE AT PONTYPOOL ON SATURDAY, AND DELIVERED TWO POWERFUL POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS FULL OF KNOWLEDGE, CUTTING EDGE INFORMATION, AND INSPIRATIONAL TEACHING.

HERE IS THE SECOND MESSAGE ON "THE REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE" RECORDED BY OUR GOOD FRIEND, PAUL FROM NEWPORT.

UNFORTUNATELY, ALAN DID NOT WANT HIS FIRST PRESENTATION RECORDED, BECAUSE IT WAS VERY HARD HITTING AT MANY OF THE FALSE TEACHERS PARADING THEMSELVES AS "CHRISTIAN LEADERS" TODAY, SUCH AS TODD BENTLEY, BENNY HINN, KENNETH COPELAND, JOYCE MEYER, JOEL OSTEEN, AND MORE LOCALLY RICHARD TAYLOR AND ANDREW PARSONS FROM THE FALSE "WELSH OUTPOURING" TAKING PLACE AT CWMBRAN.

ALAN HAS TO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN HE SPEAKS NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY ON SUCH TOPICS, ESPECIALLY WHEN NAMING NAMES! HE ALONG WITH OTHER BROTHERS SUCH AS JACOB PRASCH HAVE ENDED UP WITH LEGAL ACTION BEING TAKING AGAINST THEM OVER SUCH CONTROVERSIES, HENCE THE REASON FOR THIS POWERFUL TALK NOT BEING RECORDED.

Maranatha Blessings,
Nev.

DEBKA FILE UPDATES AND LINKS TO THEIR EXCLUSIVE WEEKLY MIDDLE EAST REPORTS.

In Kerry-Lavrov Syrian chemical accord scant punishment. Assad is free to pursue war
DEBKAfile Special Report September 14, 2013, 7:23 PM (IDT)
John Kerry and Sergey Lavrov close a deal on Syrian chemicals
John Kerry and Sergey Lavrov close a deal on Syrian chemicalsThe framework accord for destroying Syria’s chemical stockpiles, which US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced at a news conference in Geneva Saturday, Sept 14, covers important ground - but leaves even more important issues unaddressed. Its implementation depends on the full cooperation of Bashar Assad and his army for securing the process. He is therefore assured of staying in power and free to wage war unhindered.
This assurance was incorporated in Kerry’s words that the agreement can end the chemical threat to the Syrian people, its neighbors and the region only “if fully implemented.”
The US Secretary listed the six points of that accord:
1. It included a shared assessment of the amounts and types of Syrian regime’s chemical weaopons stockpiles.
DEBKAfile: Earlier reports spoke of a 40-percent disparity between the US and Russian assessments.
2. The Syrian regime has one week until Sept. 21 to submit a comprehensive listing, including names, types and quantities of its chemical weapons agents, types of munitions and local and foreign storage, production and research and development facilities.
The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons-OPCW, which usually allows 30 days, has agreed to extraordinary procedures to assure the inspection and destruction of all CW stocks.
3. Inspectors must be on the ground by November and the destruction of CW completed by mid-2014.
--- On this point, the Russian foreign minister was less specific: Implementation of the agreed framework for the removal and destruction of Syria’s chemical weapons must be supported by an “OPCW investigation and a Security Council resolution,” he said, indicating a process of several months.
DEBKAfile: This timeline could stretch out even longer because of the technical difficulties of destroying not just stocks but also manufacturing plant and the facilities for mixing and loading the chemical and biological agents on weapons of delivery.
4. Syria must provide immediate and unfettered access to its CW sites.
5. All CW including stocks inside and outside Syria must be surrendered and destroyed on-site, or if necessary outside the country.
6. Non-compliance would entail the approval of Article 7 of the UN charter which provides for legally binding military or non-military sanctions.
Lavrov’s version
--- On this point, too, Lavrov elaborated on Moscow’s position: Violations must be first investigated and confirmed by the OPCW before coming before the UN Security Council for a new resolution mandating “concrete measures.” These may not entail military action, said the Russian foreign minister, “which would be catastrophic.”
Although this word was not mentioned, the accord leaves Moscow free to use its veto once again to bar punitive action against Syria.
In answer to a reporter’s question, Kerry later insisted that the Syrian regime would be held fully accountable for non-compliance with its commitments and the US president retained the power and right to pursue military measures ““commensurate with the [Syrian ruler’s] level of accountability” without UN approval if diplomacy failed to achieve its end.
At the same time, the US secretary allowed that the US and Russians were agreed that Syria would be disarmed of its chemical weapons by diplomatic, not military, means.
Lavrov departed from Kerry’s presentation of their accord on more points:
a) All chemical weapons must be destroyed – not just those in the hands of the Assad regime, but also the Syrian rebels. This laid the groundwork for the Syrian ruler to delay compliance by pointing a finger at Israel.
b)  Military action against Syria was ruled out a priori.
c)  The Russian-US accord on Syria’s chemical weapons must lead to an international conference to discuss the declaration of the Middle East as a region free of weapons of mass destruction, which is Moscow’s ultimate aim.
This supported Assad’s stipulation which has made his implementation of the Chemical Weapons Convention contingent on Israel ratifying  the CWC which it signed in 1993, as a step on the road to demanding its  nuclear disarmament.
Secretary Kerry made no comments on this point.
d)  The US will contribute the funding and other resources for destroying Syria’s chemical weapons, and ask other world powers to participate.
More omissions
While the US secretary repeatedly praised President Vladimir Putin for initiating Syria’s handover of chemical weapons, Lavrov omitted to reciprocate with commendations of President Barack Obama.
DEBKAfile’s intelligence and military sources see five conspicuous omissions in the way of the “full implementation” of the US-Russian Geneva Agreement:
--- The timeline is left open. In none of his speeches and interviews did President Obama set deadlines for the eradication of Syria’s poison chemicals, and the dates set by Kerry Saturday in Geneva are unrealistic.
---  Russia and the Syrian ruler were left with the impression that Obama has opted against bringing Assad to account for using chemical weapons in order to keep his war afloat from a position of strength. Indeed the US president appears not to be averse to letting him stay in power.
Neither Kerry nor Lavrov answered the reporter who asked simply: “Why didn’t you first of all try and stop the war?"
---  Notwithstanding the impression Kerry tried to convey at the news conference, Obama has clearly discarded the military option as a means of keeping Assad under pressure to comply with his commitment to dismantle his chemical weapons. Even if Washington decided to invoke Article 7 to punish Syria for non-compliance with the accord, the Russian veto still hangs over this step.
---  Rescued from an  imminent American military threat, the Syria ruler is free to surrender only a small part of his chemical resources and, with the support of his Russian and Iranian allies, hold back sufficient poison gas to save himself if he risks losing the war.
He can continue to ignore the evidence found by US intelligence agencies that the Syrian army was guilty of using chemical weapons against civilians in Homs, Aleppo and Idlib – even before the poison gas massacre of Aug. 21 east of Damascus.
When on April 24, Brig. Gen. Itay Brun, head of Israeli Military Intelligence research stated publicly: "We have recently detected the Syrian army’s repeated use of lethal chemical weapons, apparently sarin,” the White House in Washington was up in arms and made Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon promise that such slips of the tongue would not recur.
Sunday, Sept. 15, Secretary Kerry is expected in Israel for a one-day trip.
He faces two uphill tasks: He must convince Israel that there is no danger of Syrian chemical weapons being passed to the Lebanese Hizballah and so diverted from international control; and that the US-Russian deal on Syria is not a template for letting Tehran off the hook on its nuclear program. That is the foremost of Israel’s concerns.

FURTHER NEWS ON PAUL WILKINSON AND ADDITIONAL PRAYER REQUESTS.

THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD

 Prayer Request

Replies to: Pastor Andrew Robinson, 100 Kennerley Road, Davenport, Stockport SK2 6EY

 Dear Friends,
I am writing to ask you to join with us in prayer for our dear brother, Dr Paul Wilkinson, who was involved in a serious road accident last Thursday evening. He was cycling near his home and was hit by a driver at a busy road junction, striking his front wheel, and sending Paul over the handlebars! Paul lay in agony for half an hour waiting for the ambulance to arrive, and was eventually admitted to hospital with a broken hip, damaged femur, and a smashed upper forearm and elbow. Although the damage is very serious and potentially debilitating, we thank God that Paul was wearing a helmet, and that the damage is restricted to the left hand side of his body (Paul is right handed).

We understand the driver, whose fault it was, has been interviewed by the police. On Saturday Paul underwent 6 hours of surgery to pin his hip and insert several plates in his upper forearm. He may have to have an artificial elbow and has been told he faces multiple operations on his forearm and that he may never regain the full use of it. Yesterday (the Lord’s Day) the physiotherapist had Paul standing and he sat in a chair for a while. Although he is still on morphine, he says that the pain lessens each time he moves. He has taken a couple of steps today.

Paul has a very positive attitude and has been witnessing to all the hospital staff from the moment he was admitted. He has shown extraordinary courage and has a complete trust in God.  Please pray for a full recovery and that the Lord will use the situation to draw Paul’s parents and other unsaved family members to salvation. Coming the day after the funeral of his grandfather, a wonderful Christian man, Paul’s accident has been a double blow for the family.

We are aware that people may wish to send greetings cards to Paul. If you would like to do so please send them care of my address which is posted above. We are so grateful for the support of our brothers and sisters in the international Christian community and bless you for your loving concern. As Paul told his distraught mother just after the accident “God will bring good out of this situation.”  And of that we have no doubt!

The Lord bless you and thank you,

Andrew Robinson.

Your brother in Christ.

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR DEAR BROTHER IN THE LORD, PAUL WILKINSON OF THE PWMI.

Dear Friends,

It has come as a great shock to us all, that our dearly beloved friend, minister,  and executive member of the PWMI, Dr Paul Wilkinson (pictured below) from Stockport has been seriously injured in a road accident, and is in in urgent need of our prayers. I have received this email today from another good friend, Ray Barton:

" Many of you will have been notified I expect of the accident to Paul Wilkinson (details below taken from Jacob Prasch's Moriel website Prayer column).  As an update (through Andrew Robinson – Paul’s pastor at the Hazelgrove Church in Stockport) I can say that he has had six metal plates put in his arms and he will need a new elbow.  He has a damaged leg which will probably require pinning, but I am unclear as to the extent of that at the moment. It goes without saying that he won’t be preaching for some time and needs our prayers.
In Him
Ray
Jacob Prasch writes: "The accident of Dr. Paul Wilkinson, whose ministry against Christian anti Zionism and anti Semitism, is without doubt a satanic attack. Paul was riding his bicycle in Manchester, England when a vehicle sped through a  red traffic light striking his bicycle and leaving him very badly mangled in his back, legs, and arm. The accident could have easily resulted in a fatality. He has undergone prolonged surgical procedures and although not presently life threatening, the state he will be left in may prove debilitating. Please pray for divine intervention and wisdom for his physicians and thank The Lord he has survived a trauma that could have killed him.
