The supergrass said that he had met the Malaysian jihadists – one of whom was a pilot – in Afghanistan and given them a shoe bomb to use to take control of an aircraft”.Malaysia officials knew about this information on Tuesday and they have finally come around to admitting that there is conclusive evidence the missing plane was a terrorist act. It gets even better; when Badat was asked what he knew of the Malaysian group, he replied: “I learnt that they had a group, uh, ready to perform a similar hijacking to 9/11.” What did Sadat do for these kind gentlemen: “I provided them with one of my shoes because both had been, uh, both had explosives inserted into them.” So Al Qaeda is alive and well and still conducting terrorist acts in an age of Orwellian surveillance.  News reports from India are that they believed the plane was going to be used on their country in a terrorist event. Not likely and I put the video down on the bottom for you to see.  On the heels of this revelation, the terrorist group Al Qaeda has called for car bombs to be blown up in major cities. We have a missing airplane probably hijacked by Al Qaeda and all of a sudden we are being told they want to attack our nation and harm its inhabitants with car bombs. Commentary The book that shows what is coming according to Bible Prophecy! I have watched what is happening with Russia and Ukraine very closely and held back from writing about it until now. It really does appear that Russia is ready for war with the West and Putin is not going to back down from Obama. For years, I followed Putin very closely because of the connection between Russia and the great battle against Israel listed in Ezekiel 38/39. I write about this in my book As America Has Done to Israel. What I learned from watching him is that Putin does not bluff and lie. He is not like Obama, but rather, when he says something, he means it. Evidently Putin believes that Obama and the West lack the courage to resist him over the Ukraine. This is a test of wills to see who backs down. I would be shocked if Putin backed down. What I see happening is Russia moving into the Crimea and maybe all of the Ukraine. Obama then leads an economic boycott of Russia, while Russia shuts off its natural gas supply to Europe. This could cause the world economy to spiral out of control, which then will directly lead to war. China is watching this very closely and will move against Japan and other Asian nations. North Korea coordinates all this with an attack on the South. The American military is overwhelmed and defeated. There is war coming to the Middle East which is brutal. I write about this in my book As America Has Done to Israel. If you have not read the book, please obtain a copy, as I lay out what is coming. I do not know how much time between the economic war and shooting war. I doubt much time, as events will careen out of control. When this war does start, it will destabilize the world and light the fuse to Armageddon. The events for the Day of the LORD and the awesome Second Coming of Jesus are starting to come into focus. It amazes me that Obama, who really stands only for killing babies the womb and sodomy, could be God's man to start the war to Armageddon.. Obama's weakness as a world leader has created the vacuum that Putin, China and Iran now want to fill.  Could it be that God is now using Obama like He did with Pharaoh with the children of Israel? Has he raised up Obama, with His Hard Left reprobate mind, that He might make His mighty power known through His prophetic word? Crimea edges closer to vote, as US-Russia talks fail 03/15/14 The situation in the Crimea between Russia and America is now spiraling out of control with the possibility of an economic war that could easily lead into a shooting war. "Kerry also warned against the Russian parliament or Duma ratifying Sunday's vote which he said would amount to a "backdoor ratification" - a move that would trigger sanctions and escalate the biggest East-West showdown since the 1989 fall of the Berlin Wall. Despite six hours of talks, including two long tete-a-tete walks in the grounds of the lavish US ambassador's residence in central London, Lavrov said Russia and the West remained far apart on Ukraine. "We have no common vision of the situation," said Lavrov.  And he hinted that Moscow was now resolved to bring Crimea under its eventual control. "Everyone understands - and I say this with all responsibility - what Crimea means to Russia, and that it means immeasurably more than the Comoros (archipelago) for France or the Falklands for Britain." Kerry again warned the international community would not recognise the results of the referendum and said if it goes ahead "there will be some sanctions, here will be some response".  Palestinian Leader to Visit White House on March 17 03/16/14 It appears that even a possible war with Russia does not stop Obama from meeting with Abbas! "He said Monday's meeting showed the White House saw an opportunity for progress, but he was not optimistic. “There were indications at least up until the Netanyahu meeting that the president was increasingly frustrated with the Israelis. This will be a better meeting, but I'm not sure how productive it's going to be," he said. Despite being preoccupied with events in Ukraine, President Obama sees this as a priority and wants to press on Abbas that time is running out as an April 29th deadline draws near for a framework agreement." Russian forces cross Crimea border to seize gas plant on eve of referendum 03/15/14 The situation in the Crimea is now reaching meltdown level at the exact time Abbas meets with Obama in the White House. New post on Terry James Prophecy Line End-of-Days Scenarios – Part 1 by Terry James Time has arrived, I believe, to put together a postulation introspective on biblically prophesied things to come, in scenario fashion--i.e., to offer, in a stream-of-consciousness way, based upon trends in today’s news, a possible course the world might take while we trudge through the end of days toward Armageddon and Christ’s second advent.  As always, when entertaining such thoughts in a public forum, I must state up front that these are nothing more or less than speculations on my part. However, the speculations are undertaken with considerable years of study, writing, and most of all, praying about matters foretold by Jesus and the Old and New Testament prophets. Although I have not received a “word of knowledge” or been given a vision or dream in the Old or New Testament sense, I do believe my thoughts are given here with Holy Spirit-directed thought and insight. So, where do we begin? Well, maybe at the beginning, the moment when linear time seems to have been introduced for this marvelous story of God and man to begin its run through history. I say it is good to begin at that point, because we have–it is obvious to any student of Bible prophecy who is alert to present day goings-on—come to the point that the very one who created time for mankind is now under satanic attack as a liar and/or a lunatic. Jesus, you see, is the creator of this thing called time, of the being called man, of all that is. The Scriptures say: “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth” (Gen. 1:1). Clear enough, right? God, not evolution, or any other method born of man’s sophistry, brought this world into existence. “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men” (Jn. 1:1-4). About Jesus, the Apostle Paul wrote: “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Col. 1:16-17). Jesus himself said: “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” (Jn. 14:6). The Bible says that Jesus Christ is God, himself. He said that He and His Father are one. That is, they are the same. When the pious Jewish religious leaders asked Him if He was God, Jesus said: “…Before Abraham was, I am” (Jn. 8:58). This refers to His being the God of His people of His promises –the Israelites, as seen in Exodus 3:6. The world of entertainment, e.g., “The DaVinci Code” fiction of a few years ago, has been saying Jesus was a mere man who faked His crucifixion, living on to father a child with Mary Magdalene. Entertainment, under pseudo-archaeological auspices, have told us that they have found the ossuaries and even the DNA of Jesus' relatives, and possibly of Jesus himself in a tomb near Jerusalem. Jesus addressed this matter in part when He said during His Olivet Discourse: “Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matt. 24:25-27). Matthew 24:25-27 is, I realize, Jesus’forewarning of false christs and false prophets that will deceive all but God’s elect during the tribulation era. Just like in all other endtime signals of significance that are in view today, however, the lying--saying Jesus is not the soon returning God of Heaven--is already underway for setting up prophetic fulfillment to come. The prominently observable fact that the deity of Jesus is under attack is, in other words, a profound signal that we are bumping up against the very end of this Age of Grace. The attack is scheduled, prophetically, to become even more hateful as we degenerate toward the end of days. Having laid the groundwork for showing that Jesus Christ’s deity and God’s veracity are under attack from our great enemy, the devil, and his supernatural and human minions, we will next examine the many developments and what they portend for the future, so far as concerns Bible prophecy. Next week, we will begin looking at end-of-days matters that are in our daily, even hourly, news--overlaid by God’s always 100%-accurate Word, the Bible.

In an unprecedented move and following Egypt’s lead, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain recently withdrew their ambassadors from Qatar, largely due to its Al Jazeera propaganda network which, since the ousting of the Muslim Brotherhood, has been inciting chaos in the region. According to a March 7 Reuters reports, “Saudi Arabia has formally designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, in a move that could increase pressure on Qatar whose backing for the group has sparked a row with fellow Gulf monarchies…. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are fuming over Qatar’s support for the Muslim Brotherhood, and resent the way Doha has sheltered influential cleric Yusuf Qaradawi, a critic of the Saudi authorities, and given him regular airtime on its pan-Arab satellite channel Al Jazeera.” Qaradawi, of course, has been an Al Jazeera mainstay for many years, regularly preaching jihad against Israel and other “infidels”—telling millions of Muslim viewers to “obey the prophet, even if he tells you to kill.” Back then, Qaradawi was not a problem for the Gulf States. However, since the Egyptian June 30 Revolution saw the ousting and subsequent banning of the Muslim Brotherhood, and ever since the Brotherhood’s supporters—chief among them Qaradawi, through his Al Jazeera program—have been inciting violence in the region, especially in Egypt and Syria, the jihad is spinning out of control; and the Gulf monarchs know that, if not contained and directed, it can easily reach them. For if jihadis are fighting fellow Muslims in Egypt and Syria—under the accusation that they are not “true” Muslims—what is to stop them from targeting the Gulf monarchies in the same context? Thus, although the Saudis originally promoted the jihad against the Syrian government—sending and supporting militants, both Saudi and otherwise—in a complete reverse, the Arabian kingdom has just designated several of these jihadi organizations, including the Nusra Front and the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant, as “terrorist” organizations. This move, according to Reuters, “underscored concern about young Saudis hardened by battle against Assad coming home to target the ruling Al Saud royal family—as has happened after the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.” And so history repeats itself... KEEP READING

Vladmir Putin is arguably one of the richest men in the world, and he is not even close to obtaining all that he hopes to acquire in his lifetime, in both money and power.

• A few tidbits to keep in mind:
   At least one third (up to 55% according to Natural Gas Europe) of Europe’s gas is supplied by Gazprom, and routed through Ukraine.  Putin has cut that supply off to Europe before!
• Putin has been in power for a couple of decades in Russia now (Medvidev was merely a “workaround” to the term limits, which have now been altered leaving room for Putin to remain in office another seven years)
• It is believed that Putin has amassed his fortune via his position of power.  One of Putin’s sources of wealth is Gazprom.  Putin has control over media in Russia as well.

MOSCOW, Nov 26, 2013 (Reuters) – The Kremlin extended its grip over radio and television broadcasting on Tuesday when the media arm of state-controlled Gazprom bought mining tycoon Vladimir Potanin’s Profmedia. Gazprom owns a 35 percent direct stake in Gazprombank, which in turn owns 100 percent of Gazprom Media. “There is nothing good in the fact that we are seeing the concentration of assets in one hand,” said Elizaveta Osetinskaya, editor in chief of Forbes Russia, a magazine known for investigative journalism. “Seven TV channels and sales of 70 billion roubles? It looks a lot like Mediaset,” added Osetinskaya, drawing comparisons with the media empire owned by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. “With the arrival of Mikhail Lesin, the media landscape is starting to be shut down,” wrote Arina Borodina, a columnist for state-owned news agency RIA Novosti.
Borodina also noted that Kovalchuk, in addition to his indirect stake in Gazprombank, has extensive media interests of his own. His National Media Group owns three Russian TV channels and national newspaper Izvestia.

• Israel discovered massive new gas fields at Tamar one year ago, about thirty miles north of the Leviathan field discovered in 2010!  These fields will meet Israel’s gas needs easily for the next 25 years, while also allowing Israel to profit from exports.  Initially Gazprom Marketing and Trading had made a 20 year preliminary deal for Gazprom to export liquefied natural gas from these fields.  (When Netenyahu went to Russia in November of 2013.
• Russia had offered to “help” develop the Tamar field, and also has made similar efforts to gain access to Israel’s gas discoveries in the form of bailing out failing Cyprus banks in exchange for exploration rights to the gas fields of the Mediterranean Sea.
• Now that Israel has all of that gas to work with, the deal with Putin-I-mean-Gasprom, seems to have fizzled out, and a new company is angling into the prized position.  Woodside Petroleum (Australia’s largest independent gas and petroleum company, Peter Coleman-formerly of Exxon Mobil-is at the helm)  has just taken a 25 percent stake in the Leviathan development.
• Interestingly, word in the energy world, is that Natural Gas will overtake Coal as the second-most used source of energy in the world within about a decade.  And the U.S. is currently in a shale boom, which has enabled us to surpass Russia as a producer of natural gas.  So you see, Putin, a dictator with aspirations of global power, is quite threatened these days.  Putin’s “glory days” in Sochi were sort of his grandiose ”coming out”, if you will!
• The Battle of Ezekiel 38 (Gog/Magog) is probably going to occur before the third Temple will be rebuilt!  One reason that this  is assumed, is because Ezekiel tells us it will take Israel 7 years to burn the weapons, debris and dead bodies that result from that conflict.

Did you know that some think that Genesis 3:15 is a prophecy about the First Coming of Jesus and Genesis 3:16 is a prophecy about the Second Coming of Jesus? Not everyone agrees, but the thought that Adam and Eve knew about the First and Second Coming of Jesus is a blessing to many.

The prophecy of the First Coming stems from the curse God placed on Satan for tempting Adam and Eve to sin. God told Satan, “I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Gen. 3:15). The word “seed” can be singular (one seed; Gal. 3:16) or plural (many seed; Gen. 15:5). In this case, the woman’s Seed is called an “it” (one seed) and a “his” (one male descendant). God was saying He would cause hostility between the offspring of Satan and one particular male descendant of Eve (see Jn. 8:44; I Jn. 3:10). This hostility reached a peak when Jesus was crucified and it will continue until Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire. 

But let’s dig a little deeper. One definition of the word “seed” is sperm. Men have seed or sperm. But women don’t have seed or sperm. There is no such thing as a “seed (or sperm) of woman.” So the birth from a “seed of woman” would have to be a miracle birth. Isaiah clearly prophesied a miracle birth when he said, “The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:14). Isaiah said, “A virgin shall conceive.” That is what several translations of the Bible say: “A virgin shall conceive.”

Skeptics say Isaiah meant a young woman shall conceive, but Isaiah also said, “The Lord Himself shall give you a sign.” My dictionary says a sign is “something unusual, a symbol or a miraculous demonstration of Divine power.” It isn’t unusual for a young woman to bear a child. That happens all the time. But the virgin birth of Jesus was a sign because it was an unusual miraculous demonstration of Divine power that happened at the first coming of Jesus (Matt. 1:18-23; Luke 1:27-35; Jn. 1:34). 

God also said Satan would bruise the heel of the Seed of Woman. Concerning the Suffering Servant Isaiah said, “He was bruised for our iniquities” (Isa. 53:5). This bruising (beating and death) of the virgin born Seed of Woman was a prophecy about His first coming.

The prophecy of His Second Coming stems from the curse God placed on Eve.Unto Eve He said, “In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children” (Gen. 3:16 KJV). The Modern Language reads, “You will suffer birth-pangs.” And the RSV reads, “In pain you shall bring forth children.” The word “sorrow” refers to birth-pangs or pain in childbirth. Childbirth was a blessing that God bestowed upon Adam and Eve when He created them, but because they sinned, that childbirth would be accompanied by sorrow or birth-pangs.

When Jesus was asked about the signs of His coming He mentioned false christs, wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences and earthquakes. Then He said, “These are the beginning of sorrows” (Mark 13:8). The Modern Language reads, “These are the first pains of childbirth.” And the RSV reads, “This is but the beginning of the birth-pangs.” The sorrow or birth-pangs in Gen. 3:16 are an example of how the signs will be at the Second Coming of Jesus. 

As the birth of a baby nears, the mother’s birth pains increase in frequency and intensity. In like manner, as the end of the age nears famine, natural disasters, etc. will increase in frequency and intensity (they will get closer together, harder and more destructive not better).

The First Coming of Jesus was preceded by a time of trouble (travel to Bethlehem under difficult circumstances, no place to stay, birth-pangs, etc.). And the Second Coming of Jesus will be preceded by a time of trouble (birth-pang disasters, the Tribulation period, etc.).

Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you.” (Isaiah 35:3-4)

You who bring good news to Zion, go up on a high mountain. You who bring good news to Jerusalem, lift up your voice with a shout, lift it up, do not be afraid; say to the towns of Judah, “Behold your God!” (Isaiah 40:9)

Israelis lacking in faith were feeling a little shaky following an interview that US President Barack Obama gave to an American writer, and which was published overnight Sunday as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was winging his way abroad.

Locally the statements made by Obama were seen as a warning directed at Israel’s leader: Blared the headlines in the Times of Israel (March 3, 2014) “For Netanyahu, a bombshell battering by Obama.”

I will not reproduce here the menacing rhetoric the American president (once regarded as the most powerful man in the world) employed in a transparent attempt to turn up the heat on Bibi. I will not quote it, and this article will not react to it.

Netanyahu, though, is ready for whatever reception he might receive at the White House. When he departed Ben Gurion Airport en route to Washington, the Israeli leader set his jaw as he spoke to the cameras at the foot of the gangway:

“In recent years the State of Israel has been under various pressures,” he said. “We have rejected them in the face of the unprecedented storm and unrest in the region and are maintaining stability and security.

“This is what has been and what will be.”

And as he left Israel, the organisation “Women for Israel’s Tomorrow” (WFIT) published an open letter with words of exhortation to strengthen the PM’s resolve.

“He Who turns the wheels of history has presented you with the challenge of your life at an optimum point in time,” it began, sounding reminiscent of the words Mordechai spoke to Esther.

Until now, the letter continued, the prime minister had “maneuvered wisely” through the shark-infested waters of US-led diplomacy vis-à-vis the Jewish state. Now Israel has reached a decisive moment, when it was possible “to strengthen our position.” A realistic “Zionist” alternative could be made to the US-pushed land-for-peace approach: Israel should extend its sovereignty over Judea and Samaria and the Jordan Valley.

Conceding that such a course of action would not be easy, these women of faith were nonetheless sure that “the difficulties associated with sovereignty are preferable to the physical and spiritual destruction entailed in the establishment of a terrorist Palestinian state in the heart of our Land.”

It is quite certain that the overwhelming majority of people reading that letter would roll their eyebrows at the ‘naïveté’ of it all.

Benjamin Netanyahu, with all his astonishing accomplishments despite the realpolitik universe in which he has to operate, is in no way, shape or form going to act on that advice. Far, far too many currents are at work behind the scenes, currents “ordinary” people know nothing about. Indeed, as a former senior advisor to Netanyahu told me, deceptive diplomacy conceals an unimaginable amount of arm twisting, dark threats, manipulation, and blackmailing of Israeli leaders who pass through the doors of the Oval Office.

Oh, how very much we would want the prime minister to seize the initiative in this war for the security and existence of his people.

But we have no illusions here. Or let me personalize this: I have no illusions.

Over the years he has been in office, my observations of Prime Minister Netanyahu have led me to assess him as the best man for the job and, more importantly, that he was appointed to this position “for such a time as this.”

This does not at all mean that I expect him to be able, in and of himself, to find a way through the serpent’s looped coils,

Not to forget, either, the findings of a national poll published as Netanyahu was packing his suitcase for this trip, according to which 73 percent of Israelis would support the signing of an agreement with PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas. (The leftist press frequently crosses ethical lines to try influence the outcome on the political landscape here.)

But for the same reason that my faith in Israel’s future is not in this man, I do not fear the wily machinations of the officials who have been working around the clock to lay the snare into which they hope to have lured the Israeli. Nor are opinion polls causing me sleepless nights.

On top of that, does Ha’aretz journalist Chemi Shalev really think that people of faith are intimidated by the mocking way in which he sought to pre-empt an assessment of the kind I am making here?

God is fighting for Israel. And as the good Book says: He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps.

In His world, and thus in mine, coincidences don’t exist – especially when it comes to the fate of the Jewish people and their land.

Whether through political upheavals and global threats of war, such as the one being witnessed in the Ukraine, by weather systems, like those today smothering Washington DC, or by vainglorious distractions like Sunday night’s Oscar Awards, or in any one of numerous other ways – there is no doubt Who sits on the throne.

And there is no doubting His power.

Or do we really think that He is going to let the Obama administration get away with rolling back the miraculous restoration of the Jews to their land that He has been overseeing now for more than 150 years?

Millennia ago, when the Israelites were standing shaking in fear on the shores of the Red Sea as Pharaoh his chariots and his horsemen raced furiously towards them, a strong voice – filled with unreasonable and unshakeable faith – called reassuringly to them:

“Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” (Exodus 14:13)

In this way we who believe in the God of Israel can encourage His people today.

“Don’t fear or be anxious, Israel. Just stand and watch Him at work. He is your God, mighty to save.”
