As President Trump Approaches his Third Year In Office, Christians Need To Be Reminded Why God Put Him There In The First Place by Geoffrey Grider The presidency of Barack Obama was God's direct judgment upon America, just as God making Saul king over Israel was actually a judgement on Israel. But the presidency of Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a judgment upon the world. Donald John Trump was elected as the 45th president of these United States by the sovereign act of an almighty God's will to place into power, and to remove from power, anyone He so chooses. So as we are passing the two and a half year mark of his presidency, a message from my pastor and a recent exchange with longtime NTEB reader Laura earlier today made me realize it was time to once again check in with some of the reasons behind why God would choose to use a man like Donald J. Trump. So let's take a look, shall we? "And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him." Daniel 2:21,22 (KJV) As I have said many times before, I did not start out as a Trump supporter, I was leaning towards Ted Cruz in the beginning. But after learning that the people behind Cruz, and perhaps Ted Cruz himself, began to speak about Cruz being God's 'anointed king' to bring about the 'end times wealth transfer', I began to look at other candidates. Being a Yankee from New Jersey, I had known about Donald Trump since the early 1980's. And, quite frankly, it was because I knew about him that I did not feel inclined to vote for him. But as I prayed for wisdom and guidance, the Holy Spirit began to lead me right to Trump's doorstep. And it had nothing to do with wanting to 'make America great again'. Don't get me wrong, I am the son of a WWII and Korea vet, and the brother of a United States Marine. I am as patriotic as they come. But as I bible believer and student of prophecy, I knew America's best days are behind her. Let me tell you why before I go any further. Judgment On America Began With The Election Of Barack Hussein Obama Back in 2012, I wrote an article entitled 'Obama Is The King God Has Given To Reign Over America In the Last Days', and in that article I spoke about how, in my opinion, God has started to judge America as a nation. I honestly did not think that America would survive much past 8 years of rule by the Kenyan Barry Soetoro, a true 'manchurian candidate' if ever there was one. But though we did survive Obama, and have continued forward, it sooned dawned on my that the judgement from God was going to continue under Donald Trump. Albeit for entirely different reasons than it did with Obama. "And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them." 1 Samuel 8:7,9 (KJV) The presidency of Barack Obama was God's direct judgment upon America, just as God making Saul king over Israel was actually a judgement on Israel for their rebellion against God. But the presidency of Donald Trump, on the other hand, is a judgment upon the world. And what better way to judge the world than by using the nation that has the world's largest economy and the world's strongest military - America! Why I Felt God Led Me To Support Donald Trump For President The first article I wrote, nearly a year before Trump was elected, is called 'Why A Bible Believer Is Supporting Donald Trump For President Of The United States", and in that article you can read why I felt the Lord chose me to support Donald Trump, warts and all. By this point, I was so sure that Trump would win because of what the Lord told me, I went out on a crazy limb and made this prediction: As I see it, Donald Trump will be the far-and-away winner for the Republican party nomination for president in 2016. Hands down. ...he will easily win in November in a landslide. Writing that article, and making that prediction had the near immediate effect of the following things. First, I got more hate mail, from other Christians, than you could shake a stick at. People were mad, very mad, at me for supporting Trump. The second thing that happened was people threatened to stop coming to NTEB, and guess what, they did! Almost overnight, our site went from over 1.3 million views a month to less than 300,000. Ouch. That's when I had to start doing some fundraising to keep NTEB online, prior to that I paid for everything from ad revenue the site generated. The incredible excitement I had felt at the first, knowing I had heard from the Lord that He would make Donald Trump president, and a whole a year before the election, was soon tempered by the start realization that being the one bringing that message also destroyed my income stream. But that's another story for another day. Why God Is Using President Trump To Judge The World The next article in the series I want to direct your attention to, and perhaps the most powerful, is called "The Global Shaking From A Trump Presidency We Warned You About Last Year Has Already Started". This was written mere weeks into his presidency, and even at that time, his election was already causing a shaking around the political world. The Cup Of This World's Judgment Almost Full Now So, where does all this leave us? It leaves us in a day and age where babies are aborted and their still-warm flesh is sold to create 'humanized mice', and where lost people demand that the 'right' to have robot sex be protected under international law. It leaves us with politicians talking about forced sterilization of human beings to 'stop climate change', and the 'First Annual Christian Witches Convention' being held in Salem, Massachusetts. I could on on about the mayor of Landsdale, PA, proclaiming February 2nd to be called 'Inclusion Day' to commemorate indoctrinating school children with the LGBTQP 'story fun time' at the local library, or how France is replacing the words 'mother' and 'father'with 'parent 1' and 'parent 2'. And if all that doesn't do it for you, how about the Roman pope signing a 'universal peace covenant' with Islam? "For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." Hebrews 11:14-16 (KJV) Christian, time is almost up, stop fooling yourself about reviving America's 'glory days', because it's not going to happen. The ship is going down, and we are called to get as many souls in to the lift raft that is Jesus Christ, that is our mission. ‘God Has Been so Faithful’: London Street Preacher Gives Powerful Update After Shocking Arrest

Oluwole Ilesanmi, the Nigerian man who was arrested in London for simply preaching the Gospel, has spoken out following his release. “Olu” was simply quoting Scripture and preaching the good news of Jesus to anyone who would listen when, on Feb. 23, he was accosted by two police officers and arrested for “breaching the peace.”

The Metropolitan police told Faithwire that, after it became clear that Olu had done nothing wrong, he was subsequently “de-arrested” and no charges were filed. Wednesday, it was announced that an investigation had been launched into the shocking incident.

“I was the one arrested,” Olu said in a video produced by UK anti-persecution watchdog, Christian Concern.

On Saturday afternoon, a member of the public witnessed and filmed the arrest of Christian street preacher Oluwole Ilesanmi outside Southgate Underground station. Ambrosine Shitrit, a Jewish campaigner from Campaign4Truth and Eye On Antisemitism, was the witness and quickly uploaded the video and asked Christian Concern to help the preacher. The video was then watched millions of times, people around the world showing dismay at the way Oluwole had been treated.

After being handcuffed, Olu says that he was released without charge miles away, and had to rely on a member of the public to pay for his bus fare back. By Monday, Oluwole - whom we have helped before - was in our offices, talking to our legal team and explaining what had happened. You can read a detailed story of what happened on our website. Olu is just one of many street preachers who the Christian Legal Centre has helped after they were stopped from preaching on the streets of the UK. We want to see police officers respect and uphold the freedom of people to preach lawfully in public. So we have launched a petition asking the Home Secretary to review the training and guidance given to officers on policing these incidents.

We want the Home Secretary to hear our voice loudly and clearly supporting the freedom to preach publicly - so that police would be better equipped to protect, rather than arrest, street preachers. The explosive balloons that have been launched by Hamas over the Gaza Strip border at Israel has destroyed nearly 10,000 acres of farmland to date. The Palestinians have kept these weekend riots going for nearly a full year now. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee." Psalm 122:6 (KJV) Naturally, the United Nations condemns Israel for defending themselves, and applauds Hamas for carrying on outrageous and seemingly endless terrorist attacks against the sovereign nation of Israel. And it will only get worse. IDF STRIKES HAMAS POST IN RESPONSE TO EXPLOSIVE BALLOONS FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: Thousands of Gazans have been violently demonstrating along the security fence with Israel demanding an end to the 12-year long blockade every week for the past 11 months. Three Palestinians, including a medic and a journalist were injured on Friday during the protests. According to the IDF some 8,000 Palestinians gathered at several points along the fence, burning tires, hurling stones, explosives devices and grenades at troops stationed along the fence. Demonstrators also burnt tires and launched incendiary balloons towards several locations. IDF troops responded with riot-control means. Palestinians in the Hamas-run coastal enclave have been launching explosive balloons and other explosive aerial devices as part of The Great Return March protests which began on March 30th, leading to 2,000 separate fires resulting in over 35,000 dunams (approximately 8,500 acres) being burnt. According to the IDF, this has included over 13,000 dunams (approximately 3,200 acres) of nature reserves, and over 11,000 dunams (approximately 2,700 acres) of forestry. While orchestrating the riots on Israel's border, Hamas was also responsible for firing over 1,300 rockets and mortars from Gaza into Israel during 2018. The explosion shattered one window and damaged the shutters on another, authorities said. The IDF also accused Hamas of “allocating explosive materials and other military means” and distributed them to protesters to sabotage security infrastructure. The Roman Catholics Of Brazil Mark The Beginning Of Lent With Their Annual 5-Day ‘Carnival’ Brimming With Tribal Paganism by Geoffrey Grider Carnival celebrations making the start of the Roman Catholic observance of Lent began across Brazil last night, with revellers swarming the streets in a sea of colour, glitter and feathers. The Catholic Church in America is relatively conservative, at least outwardly, but all that changes when you go overseas. In many foreign countries Roman Catholicism is much more open about their pagan Babylonian and Egyptian roots, where you will frequently encounter Catholic occultism, Catholic exorcisms, and Catholic voodoo. In Brazil last night, they kicked off the start of Carnival which celebrates the Roman Catholic festival of Lent. As you can see from the main article photo, it is openly demonic and pagan. "And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts." Revelation 9:20,21 (KJV) The Catholic Church instituted Lent as a special time of prayer, penance, sacrifice and good works in preparation of the celebration of Easter. The word Lent itself is derived from the Anglo-Saxon words lencten, meaning "Spring," and lenctentid, which literally means not only "Springtide" but also was the word for "March," the month in which the majority of Lent falls. Laodicean non-Catholic churches like the United Methodists also celebrate Lent. The origins of Lent go all the way back to the start of the Roman Catholic Church in 313 AD. When you watch how the Catholics in Brazil celebrate their pre-Lent Carnival, to me it's like what I imagine the One World religion under Antichrist will look like. Now, of course, Catholics will write in to say that these people in Brazil are not "true Catholics', and that this pagan festival does not represent the global Catholic Church. Well, if that were true, why is not the pope denouncing it for the end times mess that it is? The Vatican must have no problem with it because they have never rebuked Brazil for doing it over the last nearly 200 years. Brazilian party-goers turn Sao Paulo into sea of colour, glitter and feathers on first night of five-day festival to mark start of Lent FROM THE DAILY MAIL UK: Party-goers showed off their opulent costumes in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro during the first night of celebrations for the five-day festival which marks the start of Lent. This year's event is the first such celebration since Jair Bolsonaro took office, and it is expected that the festival will target the far-right president known for offending the LGBT community and minorities. At Carmelitas, one of Rio's most traditional street parties, revelers sang along to a samba song titled: 'Blue or pink, it's all the same,' a reference to Bolsonaro's human rights minister, Damares Alves, who declared: 'It's a new era in Brazil, boys wear blue and girls wear pink,' soon after she took up her post. 'This parade is an act of resistance to the oppressive new government,' said Monica Machado, a percussion player in the band. The song's lyrics went, 'On the train of history, we can't go in reverse,' a reference to the Brazilian president's open admiration of Brazil's 1964-1985 military dictatorship. Bolsonaro has famously said he would rather have a dead son than a gay son and that police who kill criminals should be given medals not prison sentences. Several party-goers' costumes targeted an early corruption scandal in the Bolsonaro government. Carnival began in the 1830s as a continuation of the Portuguese tradition of celebrating and indulging on the day before Lent begins. Lent is the 46-day period observed primarily by Roman Catholics as a means of sacrifice and abstinence in preparation for Easter. During the late 1800s, street musicians and dancing were introduced in Rio de Janeiro's Carnival, in addition to themed costumes and the tradition of electing the Carnival's "king." The celebration includes live music, street performances, dancing, floats, costumes, food and beverages. Rio de Janeiro has one of the most well-known Carnival celebrations. source Vinicius Alves, a university student, wore all orange with a headband adorned with fake money and orange slices, a nod to the Brazilian expression 'orange employee,' which refers to politicians' use of ghost employees to launder money. Rio's evangelical bishop-turned-mayor, Marcelo Crivella, came under fire on the party's first day for skirting his duty to kick off the celebrations by handing over the key of the city to the king of Carnival for the third consecutive year. He told reporters that he would be turning in the keys to Carnival, not the keys to the city as is tradition. 'It's very disrespectful. I'm trying to understand why they wouldn't want to participate in this ceremony,' said Mauricio de Jesus, the president of the cultural center where the key is held. The evangelical Crivella has made negative comments about African-rooted religions, which many Brazilians practice and have great cultural influence on Carnival celebrations. That said, you will easily see the New Age and pagan influences that the Catholics in Brazil display as they prepare for Lent.

The United Church of Christ Wrongfully Attacks Israel by Denis MacEoin  •  March 2, 2019 at 5:00 am          Mistakes and falsehoods such as those we encounter throughout the UCC's misnamed guide to "Promoting a Just Peace in Palestine-Israel", each one seemingly trivial, cannot be dismissed as the results of a moment's inattention. Much effort has gone into the writing of this Guide, and factual errors, which take up so much of the text, are clearly the result of conscious assumptions that have never been checked against reputable facts. If a body of Christians really cares about Palestinian lives, Muslim and Christian alike, not to mention the lives of Israeli children, the lives of everyone on either side, then supporting an illegal and fanatical use of violence by telling lies and permitting distortions in order to incite an anti-Semitic hatred that will embolden and activate further terrorist attacks is beyond measure a contradiction of normative Christian ethics. The UCC cannot continue to assert its association with Jesus Christ, a man of peace, when they so openly espouse the cause of Palestinian resistance that embraces violence as a solution above any form of peace-making. Jesus said "Blessed be the peace-makers", yet here is a Christian church that blesses men of violence. The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a shrinking Christian denomination mainly active in the United States, and "perhaps the most liberal of the Mainline Protestant American denominations". With just under a million members and 5,000 churches (down from two million members and 7,000 churches in 1957, when it was founded), it still has prominent congregations in the heartland of the American Congregationalist movements, in states such as Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
