While there is much talk about a potential normalization deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia, it has mostly been played down due to a wide ranging set of issues. Ultimately the Saudi leadership wants a "palestinian" state in Judea and Samaria with Jerusalem as its capital. This has been the stumbling block so far.
