A pro-Hamas 'suicide bomber' took seven hostages at Procter & Gamble's factory on the outskirts of Istanbul on Thursday.
The captor - who is yet to be named - was pictured with a suicide vest strapped to his chest while holding a gun.
In a photo that spread on social media, he was seen concealing his face behind a keffiyeh - a black and white scarf which has become an emblem of Palestinian solidarity - and standing in front of a spray-painted flag of Palestine.
