Tucker Carlson’s comments came after NBA players boycotted their playoff games on Wednesday night, following the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha over the weekend and several nights of protests.
I stopped watching all main stream media news channels about 4 years ago, so disgusted was I with the biased reporting and blatant agenda pushing, and yes, that included Fox News. I turned it all off, and the silence was amazingly refreshing. Then Tucker Carlson took over for Bill O'Reilly, and there was finally something I could watch again. Tucker Carlson has the unenviable job of telling the truth in a time of blatant deception, in fact, I would go so far as to say Tucker Carlson is the last truth teller on the air today. Because of that, Tucker is now the latest target of the Liberal nazis cancel culture outrage mob.
"And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not." John 8:45 (KJB)
The reason for the ire of the cancel culture mob at the moment is because Tucker dared to tell the truth about the BLM riots happening now in Kenosha, Wisconsin. To be sure, it's an ugly truth, but it is truth none the less. The one problem you have is a white cop shot a black man, and that needs to be dealt with and justice needs to be served, no question about it. The other problem you have is that Black Lives Matter terrorists are burning, looting and destroying property, that is just as much of a crime as anything else might be.
Pray for Tucker, he is a religious man for sure but is he saved? Hard to say, so pray for his salvation in Jesus Christ as that is the ultimate truth in this world or any other. Tucker Carlson is the last truth teller on the news today, if he goes down, the Liberals will own it all.
‘Fire Tucker Carlson’: Fox News Host Condemned for Comments on Deadly Shooting of Kenosha Protesters
Fox News host Tucker Carlson received immediate backlash on Twitter after saying Kyle Rittenhouse, who was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide for the shootings of two protesters in Kenosha, Wis., “decided to maintain order when no one else would.”
“Are we really surprised this looting and arson accelerated to murder? How shocked are we that 17-year-olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would? Everyone can see what was happening in Kenosha. It was getting crazier by the hour,” Carlson said on his show.
Video from Carlson’s Wednesday night Fox News broadcast went viral on Twitter, with many people speaking out against his comments and saying he should be fired. Billy Eichner, Ike Barinholtz and Julie Klausner were among the entertainment-industry figures calling for Carlson to be fired.
Asked for comment, a Fox News spokesperson referred to a tweet by Carlson:
John Cusack and Craig Mazin tweeted at several of the sponsors of Carlson’s show, saying that they should be boycotted unless they cut ties with the Fox News host.
“So @SurePayroll advertises on Tucker? Guess I know what I’m doing tonight. Shifting my payroll to another company that doesn’t support total f—ing a**holes,” Mazin tweeted, while Cusack called out Disney, Hulu, Amazon, Sandals Resorts and Tivity Health.
Carlson’s comments came after NBA players boycotted their playoff games on Wednesday night, following the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha over the weekend and several nights of protests. Blake was shot seven times by a police officer on Sunday, leaving him paralyzed. Protests in several major cities against police violence have taken place this week. On Tuesday night, two people were shot and killed in Kenosha during the third night of unrest following the shooting. Rittenhouse was arrested and charged on Wednesday.
The controversy is the latest for the Fox News host, who is a frequent critic of the Black Lives Matter movement. Last month, he took a leave of absence from the show after one of his top writers resigned after making racist and misogynistic posts online.
Other celebrities said Carlson was “advocating for murder” and “inciting violence” on air. READ MORE
