An IDF Spokesperson said that Hezbollah must immediately stop using ambulances as part of its operations in Lebanon.
Despite a ceasefire, sirens were heard in Israel on Friday as the IDF warned Hezbollah against using ambulances for military purposes. Rocket shrapnel struck a building in northern Israel after a barrage was launched toward the Galilee on Friday morning.
One person was reported to be suffering from anxiety-related symptoms, with no additional injuries confirmed by Magen David Adom. Israel Police said authorities were working to secure the impact site. The IDF had earlier warned of a potential expansion in rocket fire from Lebanon beyond areas near the border.
In response to missile launches targeting northern Israel and the Haifa area on Thursday night, the IDF said it carried out strikes on approximately 10 Hezbollah rocket launchers in the early hours of Friday, according to a military statement. Magen David Adom reported that a few individuals sustained injuries during the incidents.
The IDF also issued a warning regarding Hezbollah’s use of civilian infrastructure. IDF Arabic Spokesperson Col. (res.)
