The purpose of the following is to show how the name calling on Israel came about, by whom, which is the 'why.'
Shukeiri to Shakir
Without going into the long history of Omar Shakir using the respected HRW in 2021 for his campaign which already on 2010 has outlined a vision for Israel's elimination... Issa Nakhleh:
The pioneering in slurring Jews with vile comparisons can be traced to Issa Nakhleh who, as correspondent for the Falastin [1] in 1939, had defended 'Arab Propaganda Centre' in Nazi Germany [2]; glorified Nazi regime in the 1950s [3]; weaved a network of connections including "with German immigrants nostalgic for the days of the Third Reich" - in Argentina [4]; had denied the Holocaust in: 1972, [5] 1978, [6] 1981 [7]; in 1973, re Kissinger, Nakhleh exclaimed: "You Jews are doing the same thing you did in Germany." [8]
In 1961 (after spending time in NY since 1947 and in Argentina-NY since 1952), he claimed to be a "refugee" and had re-established the (previously under A. Shukeiri [9]) PAD - Palestine Arab Delegation, [10] soon, he published his master the ex-Mufti's letter justifying Nazi persecution of the Jews. [11].
He had worked with neo-Nazis since 1963, [12] through the 1970s-1980s, [13] and, as Council to Islamic Congress, had defended Holocaust denier Federer Ditlieb in 1982. [14].
This I. Nakhleh, in 1949 (months after he threatened a 100-year war [15]), not only compared, but in his Memorandum to the UN [16] had stated that the Nazis were less bad...
Ahmad Shukeiri:
Ahmad Shukeiri, who helped Hitler [17] and had stated that they all prayed and cheered for the Axis [18] and, with Jamal Husseini, justified the Holocaust in 1946. [19] In March 1946, before the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry he stated: "if it is a question of degree of violence, the Arabs are prepared to break the record." [20] In 1950, had made the Nazi comparison [21] and in Dec 1952 pedalled Anti-Semitic tone, tropes. [22]
In October 1960 Shukeiri used the word "Nazi" a dozen times. [23]
Then, on Oct 17, 1961 [24] came up with the apartheid slur. (But he didn't stop there, he recruited the N term, again, into the mix [25]). Weeks later, on Dec 4, 1961, he "broadened" his terminology, [borrowing from I. Nakhleh]: "nastier than Fascism, uglier than Nazism." [26] A year later, he hailed and promoted a Neo-Nazi gang, [27] while mentioning the NYT article [28] about the group and was removed by the Saudis from UN post. [29] He is infamous for his genocidal: "none of them will survive" [30] "racist - Shukeirian" - style [31]).
