Israel Approves Passage Of Controversial ‘Nation State’ Bill That Puts Spotlight On Attempts To Deal With Rising Arab Citizen Population

Israel has no constitution but instead passed over time a series of Basic Laws which have constitutional status. The nation state law is the 14th such basic law

As the regathered nation of Israel continues its upward rise of prosperity and achievement, the biggest single problem they face is not from Hamas or Iran but from a growing problem right within their own borders. Over twenty percent of Israel's 9 million citizens are Arabs who identify either as or in solidarity with Palestinians. And their number are growing every year at a surprisingly strong rate.
Israeli Arabs maintain arabic as their language, along with the rest of their cultural heritage and identity. The net result of Israel's rising Arab population is the curious effect of having a country within a country, even though all its citizens are Israeli. This serves to greatly weaken and dilute a purely Jewish national identity in Israel, and so to address this growing problem Israel has passed a 'nation state' bill into law.
FROM THE BBC: Called The Basic Law: Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People, the legislation essentially defines Israel first and foremost as a Jewish state. Among its 11 provisions, it describes Israel as "the national home of the Jewish people" and says the right to exercise national self-determination there is "unique to the Jewish people". It also reiterates the status of Jerusalem under Israeli law, which defines the city - part of which is claimed by the Palestinians as the capital of a future state - as the "complete and united... capital of Israel". Controversially, the law singles out Hebrew as the "state's language", effectively prioritising it above Arabic which has for decades been recognised as an official language alongside Hebrew. It ascribes Arabic "special status" and says its standing before the law came into effect will not be harmed. In one of its clauses, the law stresses the importance of "development of Jewish settlement as a national value", though it is unclear whether this also alludes to settlement in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. READ MORE
For years, NTEB has been telling you about something known as ‘biological jihad’that has been waged by Muslims for the past forty years. Simply put, biological jihad is the practice of Muslim women giving birth to as many children as possible in order to change the balance of power in non-Muslim nations they have migrated to. Why would they do this? Because in free Western societies, the group that is in the majority only has to nominate their own political candidates, then vote them into office. Once in office and in power to create and rescind laws, Muslim will easily be able to begin the process of instituting Sharia Law in a variety of Western nations.
Terror-based jihad is very easy to identify and fight, but biological jihad is an altogether different matter. In a free and open society, people are free to emmigrate to just about any country they wish to, as long as they do it legally. But muslims are one of the only people groups who do not assimilate into their host country. In America, the city of Detroit has been almost completely taken over by Muslims.
But America due to its overwhelming size can absorb large parts of other cultures without a clear threat to our national sovereignty. Tiny, little Israel does not have that luxury.
The 'nation state' law is Israel's attempt to deal with a rising non-Jewish citizenry that does not and will not identify with Jewish culture and heritage. And Israel's Arab citizens may just be the biggest and hardest to solve problem that the Jewish nation has.
