Five Important Questions for the New Year Of 2014.

Winter Scene-Michigan USA
The year 2014 is upon us. Perhaps, we have already made some goals for the new year.  We may plan to do more exercise or eat less food. Perhaps, we want to travel more, or get out of debt. In light of our goals for 2014, will we take the time to do an inventory of our spiritual lives?
God says in Haggai 1:5: “Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways”. God’s people had returned to their land, but they had neglected to rebuild the temple. They were too busy with their own affairs. to concern themselves with God and His priorities. Today, we often neglect our spiritual lives because we become preoccupied with all the activities that make demands on our time. Like the Israelites, have we neglected to take an inventory of our spiritual life?
The word “consider” means to note thoroughly, to perceive clearly, to think deeply. This word is used sixty-six times in the Bible. Why does God place such a priority on this word? Is it because He knows that we have the habit of keeping busy so that we don’t take the time to consider our walk with Him?  Here are five important questions that will help us to “consider our ways.”
1. How well do I know God?  “That I may know Him.” (Philippians 3:10) These words show Paul’s great desire to know the Lord in a personal way. He didn’t just want to know about God, but he wanted to know God intimately as His Father, Lord and Friend. Intimacy comes by spending time with God in His Word. We will study His Word to learn more about His character, His works, and His promises. Intimacy comes by spending time with God in prayer. Intimacy also comes by spending time meditating upon God. This will cause our love for Him to grow!
2. How well do I know myself?  ”Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:” (Psalm 139:23) We often find it difficult to allow God to search every aspect of our life. We like to focus on all of our “good points” and we tend to ignore our sins or weaknesses. God gives us His Word to enable us to see areas that we need to change in our lives. When we read the Word of God, do we allow God to convict us of our sins? Do we allow Him to show us areas in our lives in which we need to improve? Do we allow Him to show us our apathy in spiritual matters? Examining our lives may not be pleasant, but it is a great step in moving forward in our spiritual lives in 2014.
3. How well do I use my time?  “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:16)  Time is a gift that we often waste on matters that are not very important. We have many tools today to save time; yet we seem to have less time than ever. We allow the urgent to crowd out the important.

The Apostles Paul understood that his greatest priority in life was to mature in his faith.  “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14) His time, efforts and focus were upon his spiritual well-being. We spend a lot of time taking care of our physical bodies, but what about our spiritual life? Time is a gift that we can invest in those things that promote our spiritual well-being.
4. How well do I encourage those around me?  We often focus upon our own lives and we forget the impact that our lives have upon other people. One of my favorite Bible characters is Barnabas. He was a man who was always encouraging others.
  • He encouraged others by his example. He did this with his generous gift to the church (Acts 4:36-37). The Bible also says about Barnabas: “He was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith:” (Acts 9:23) If people followed our example what kind of Christian would they be?
  • He encouraged others by his friendship. Barnabas extended the hand of friendship to Paul when nobody else did. (Acts 9:26-27) People need friends, but our culture of isolation has kept us from reaching out to others with the needed hand of friendship.
  • He encouraged others with his words. Barnabas was a leader who encouraged the early church in Antioch with his words (Acts 9:23)  We can use our words to discourage a person or to encourage them.
  • He encouraged others by giving them a second chance. John Mark had failed on the first missionary journey. Paul didn’t want to take the chance to take John Mark on the second journey. Barnabas choose to give John Mark a second chance. This same John Mark would later write the Gospel of Mark. People will fail us, just as we fail others. Will we give them a second chance?
5. How well do I glorify God in all that I do?  The greatest purpose of our life is to bring glory to God. “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)  God wants to be glorified in all that we do. Do we glorify God in our thoughts, attitudes, words and actions? De we glorify God in our family? Do we glorify God at work or school? Do we glorify God with our plans and goals in life?
We have come to another crossroads in our lives. We have a great opportunity before us. What will we do with this opportunity?  We can move forward in our spiritual lives or we can remain stagnant. God desires us to move forward in our spiritual lives.
“Dear Heavenly Father, I am entering a new year. I know that I have fewer years ahead of me than behind me. It is critical that I allow you to clearly show me, what I need to do in this coming year. Help me to know you more intimately. Guide me as to the use of my time. Use me to encourage the people you bring into my life. Above all, I want to glorify you in all that I am and do.  Thank you for the blessings of 2013.  Thank you for continuing your work in and through my life. Amen”

Iran Designing New Centrifuges in Surprise Move

Last week, 100 Iranian legislatures drafted a proposal calling for further uranium enrichment. In a surprise move, Iran has also announced this week that it is designing a new type of centrifuge to help further its enrichment efforts.

Duck, Duck, Goose!

The case of Phil Robertson is a small taste of what Israel must undergo each and every day against a much larger enemy. It is unfortunate that the only democracy in the Middle East, a country that protects the rights of its citizens, is constantly harassed by the rest of the world for every perceived infraction. The world waits on baited breath for some excuse to force Israel into a corner, accusations ready on its lips. Israel needs to strengthen itself against its critics, stop justifying its decisions, and cease being the goose of the world stage.

"THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME" BY THE KNOWLEDGEABLE TERRY JAMES.

Shape of Things To Come!

Most who watch the news in light of Bible prophecy agree that the world has moved into a time of birthpang-like convulsions. While such contractions have been observable for a long time, they seem now to be only minutes apart, rather than months and years apart, like in previous decades. It is with this frame of reference I would like to do some scenario postulating.
By doing so, I am setting myself up for severe criticism, I realize. So, I want to preface this in the strongest possible terminology. Please read carefully: This is from the thought process of Terry James, not from the mind of the Creator of all things. While I do believe the Lord gives discernment in the areas of things to come (prophecy yet future), He no longer reveals new prophetic truth in the sense He revealed prophecy to Old and New Testament prophets–i.e., God has given His Word, and there is nothing left to be given, so far as prophetic truth is concerned.
Now, we who study the prophetic Word can get enlightenment and discernment. I base the following on that premise –that I sense possibilities, based upon prayer, study, and observation. What follows is postulation from a human being in God’s family (through belief in Jesus Christ as Savior). It is speculation, but, I believe, speculation that has been placed in my mind by the Holy Spirit. It is not a “word of knowledge,” as some would have it. It is an assiduously studied and prayed-over speculative insight, I believe.
It is with that understanding that I would like to look somewhat into things to come.
The prophet Zechariah comes most specifically to mind, when beginning these ponderings: “The burden of the word of the LORD for Israel, saith the LORD, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it” (Zech. 12: 1-3).
Israel appears to be headed toward exactly the isolation outlined in Zechariah’s prophecy for the end of human history. The tiny Jewish state is being more and more blamed by the international community for its retaliation against incessant attacks from its enemies. While terrorists are given shelter and endless supplies from countries like Iran, they are given time to resupply, rebuild their losses for their terroristic assaults by those like U.N. Secretaries, with cease-fire resolutions which, even if implemented, are kept only by the Israelis, never by the Hezbollah or Hamas or other murderers.

A CHRISTIAN PRIEST STATES THAT ISRAEL IS A SHINING EXAMPLE OF HUMAN RIGHTS!

Christian Priest: Israel a Shining Example of Human Rights

Wednesday, December 25, 2013 |  Ryan Jones
The Israeli Zionist organization Im Tirtzu last week hosted the “Zionist Conference for Human Rights” in Tel Aviv. Among the invited speakers was Father Gabriel Nadaf, spiritual head of the Israeli Christians Recruitment Forum, a body that encourages young Arabic-speaking Israelis (they prefer to not be labeled as “Arabs”) to join the Israeli army and fully integrate with Israeli Jewish society.
In his address to the conference, Father Nadaf noted that “there are many regimes (in the region) that do not care about equal rights, they only care about catering to an elite that terrorizes the rest of the population, while brushing off the issue of human rights and dehumanizing others.”
But, the Greek Orthodox priest explained, “In Israel, we [non-Jewish minorities] do not experience this.”
Father Nadaf concluded by declaring how “proud” he is to live in Israel, and insisting that “Israel is a shining example of human rights in the Middle East.”
Predictably, the views of Father Nadaf and other members of the Israeli Christians Recruitment Forum have not been popular with the Muslim Arab community, nor with its representatives in the Israeli Knesset.
Earlier this month, Father Nadaf’s son was violently attacked on the streets of Nazareth by those opposed to local Arabic speakers identifying with the Jewish state. Nadaf and others said it was incitement from the likes of Arab Knesset Member Ahmad Tibi that resulted in the attack on his son and continued tension between Arabs and Jews in the land.
But Tibi, who last week wrote in an American publication about what he called Israel’s “Jim Crow” treatment of local Arabs, is coming under increasing fire for his hostile rhetoric and approach.
Deputy Knesset Speaker Hamad Amar, a member of Israel’s minority Arabic-speaking Druze community, responded to Tibi’s accusations with his own article accusing his Muslim colleague of representing “all that is wrong with parts of the Israeli Arab leadership.”
“In our whole region consisting of over 350 million Arabs, there are only 1,658,000 Arabs who have complete political and religious freedom and have the right to vote in full democratic elections. It is no coincidence that all of these Arabs live as full and equal citizens in the one Jewish State,” wrote Amar.
But rather than try to build a positive future together, “Tibi supports segregation, calling for the complete ostracism of any Israeli Arab who volunteers for national civilian service,” Amar continued.
The Druze politician argued that his own community is a perfect example of what can be achieved “if one chooses integration and contribution over ostracism and demonization.” Israel’s Druze serve in the IDF, are respected members of parliament and are largely integrated with and well received throughout Jewish society.

THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE FRIENDS. HAPPY YESHUA CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE. BUT IS THIS REALLY THE OFFICIAL BIRTHDAY OF CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD??

HAPPY YESHUA CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY, BUT WAS JESUS REALLY BORN ON DECEMBER 25TH (Nev)?

WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS HAVE TO DO WITH JESUS? by Richard Anthony

Christmas is a very popular holiday. However, as is often the case, what is popular is not always right, and what is right is not always popular. "Christmas" is short for "Christ mass", or "mass for Christ". The name of the holiday is much newer than the holiday itself. The customs associated with Christmas, in one form or another, have been celebrated for thousands of years before Christ was even born!. "Christmas" is just a new name for an old pagan holiday. Now Christmas is supposedly a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ…but is it really? What does Santa Clause, reindeer, and the North Pole have to do with Jesus Christ?
Santa or Satan?

Santa has been given the attributes of God, and is presented as a god-like figure:

  1. Eternal: Santa is as old as man, he has always been, and he will always be. Santa is eternal. Jesus is eternal (Revelation 1:8).
  2. Flying and gifts: Santa goes into the air and gives gifts. Jesus ascends on high and gives gifts (Ephesians 4:7-8).
  3. Coming soon: Santa shall descend from the sky. Jesus "shall descend" from the sky (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
  4. Rewarding works: Santa gives his gifts according to whether you are good or bad. Jesus gives his gifts according to whether you are good or bad (Revelation 20:12-13).
  5. All Seeing: Santa sees you when you are sleeping, and knows when you're awake. Jesus sees you when you are sleeping, and knows when you're awake (Proverbs 5:21).
  6. Clothing: Santa wears red clothes. Jesus wore red clothes (Revelation 19:13).
  7. Hair: Santa has hair white as snow. Jesus had hair "white as snow" (Revelation 1:14, Daniel 7:9).
  8. Entering: Santa can come in though the doors are shut. Jesus can come in though the doors are shut (John 20:19).
  9. Home: Santa’s city is in the North Pole. God’s city is in "the sides of the North" (Psalm 48:1-2, Leviticus 1:11).
  10. Omniscient (all knowing): Santa knows if you've been bad or good. Jesus knows if you've been bad or good (Proverbs 15:3).
  11. Omnipresence (everywhere at one time): Santa can be in one billion homes in a 24 hour period; that is eleven hundred & fifty-seven homes per second, virtually omnipresent. Jesus is omnipresent (Matthew 18:20).
  12. Omnipotent (all powerful): Santa is powerful enough to carry presents for a billion children. That is Omnipotence. Jesus is Omnipotent (Matthew 28:18).
  13. Ho! Ho! Ho!: Santa says, "Ho, ho, ho". Jesus says "Ho, ho" (Zechariah 2:6), and in this same verse, Jesus says,"flee from the land of the north." Also, the word "ho" appears in only three verses in the entire scripture (Ruth 4:1, Isaiah 55:1, Zechariah 2:6). Ho! Ho! Ho! Three Ho’s! Santa is trying to impersonate Christ (Matthew 24:5)!
Children have been told from an early age that there is someone who "knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows when you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake." One day that child's "god" (for indeed only the Lord God knows these things) is discovered to be non-existent. When a child is 6, 7 or 8 he finds out he has been lied to by his parents and society. Their faith crumbles and a sacred trust is broken. Their parents represent the authority and security to which their very lives depend, and they find out now that there is not a jolly, fat Santa Clause with attributes as God.

The Devil has just now destroyed a belief in one who "knows when you are sleeping, awake, bad or good, etc.!" Now you take that same child to Church services, or teach this child about God, expecting them to believe in another who knows all about them. What would any of us expect of a child whose faith and trust were already attacked with such deception?

If you have any involvement in such a deception, repent of it. Jesus said, "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones (children) which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea." (Mat.18:6). The worship of Santa Claus is a sin of idolatry likened to that of witchcraft (1 Sam.15:23, Gal.5:19-21).

Who is the god of this world? The Lord God of the scripture has revealed Himself as God, but there is another whom the Lord ascribes the title of "the god of this world" (2 Corinthians 4:4), "the prince of this world" (John 12:31). The devil has "come down" unto us (Revelation 12:12), and walks on the earth (Job 2:2). Indeed, the Devil has done such a good job in his work of deception that the vast majority of men, women and children do not even believe that the Devil exists. They have cartooned him as a mythical horned and forked-tailed boogie man, and in that lies his opportunity to have people succumb to the powers that are his.

It is this principle that lies at the belief system of Santa. SANTA with a juggle of letters spells SATAN!

Santa Claus is a god to the children of the world, or as some say, "Father Christmas". But Jesus specifically said, "And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven" (Matthew 23:9). The parents purposely lie to their children, and lying is strongly condemned in the scripture (Pro.6:16-19; 19:5,9; Eph.4:25, Col.3:9, 1 John 2:21-22, Rev.21:8,27; 22:15). Parents tell them that they should fear Santa Claus because "he knows if you've been bad or good". If they have been bad, they won't get all these worldly gifts. If they are good, they get these gifts. The scripture condemns worldly gifts (Exo.23:8, Deut.16:19, 2 Kings 5:15-16, Pro.17:23, Ecc.7:7, Mat.23:19, Pro.21:14). True gifts are from God only (James 1:17, Eph.2:8; 3:7; 4:7, 1 Cor.7:7, 2 Cor.9:15, Rom.1:11; 6:23, Acts 2:38, 2 Tim.1:6). And the gift of God cannot be purchased with money (Acts 8:20-21).
Santa Claus comes from the Dutch dialect "Sante Klaas," because this referred to "Saint Nicholas." Nicholas was a man in Germany who gave children presents, and had them sit on his lap. Unfortunately, the reason he did this was not for good, but for evil. He was a convicted child molester. FULL ARTICLE WITH ALL OF THE CHRISTMAS MYTHS AT

"THE LAST DAYS REVISTED" BY PAUL CHUDI FROM "RAPTURE READY".

The Last Days Revisited Part One: The Gradual Fulfillment of the Times by Paul Chudi

Looking back through history it’s amazing what you will find. There are a lot of hidden gems throughout the ages that shows that God is still at work during this dispensation. We live in a Godless era. An era of self, an era in which men are lovers of themselves rather than loving each other and their maker.

Before continuing let’s take a brief look at what our Lord and Savior Yeshua (Jesus Christ), had to say about the last generation before the Rapture. Our Lord said a lot and I will only cover a few. I would also like to implore you to do a brief run through world history (at least 30 years back or farther) to see whether or not these events are taking place. What’s interesting though is the level at which what the Lord warned us about is happening today.

“Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire” (Jude 1:7).
Homosexuality by default has already been legalized in America. A key part of DOMA was struck down in June. DOMA once defined marriage as between a man and a woman. However the Supreme Court has overruled that and now any gay couple that is “married” in a licensing state will have their “marriage” recognized in all 50 states.

“I will scatter you among the nations” (Leviticus 26:33a).

Israel became a nation again on May 14, 1948. The books of Leviticus, Deuteronomy and Ezekiel said that Israel would be scattered, preserved and then return to their rightful place. This has already taken place. The Jews over many centuries were scattered over many nations across the world. But they gradually returned to Israel and the nation of Israel was proclaimed in 1948.
