ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH SIN IN YOUR LIVES? WELL WATCH THIS FANTASTIC MUSIC VIDEO BY MORGAN CRYER AND BE BLESSED!!

"A METAPHYSICAL PSYCHOSIS" BY THE IMPRESSIVE AND ALWAYS READABLE MELANIE PHILLIPS.

A metaphysical psychosis

Once again, we are living through the hallucinatory, sickening experience of seeing Israel's morally-elevated defence against murderous fanatics provoke a global explosion, of Israel-bashing and naked anti-Jewish hatred, especially in demonstrations across Europe.

For sure, the current war in Gaza has engendered more sympathy than previous such Israeli military campaigns. More and more people understand that Israel alone is fighting a murderous Islamic aggression which threatens themselves, too. People are less inclined to blame Israel or believe media reports that are often not far off inflammatory incitement against Israel and the Jewish people.

Many in the intelligentsia frame this conflict as if Israelis are the war criminals and genocidal Hamas the victims. They uncritically swallow the Hamas death count, even though it orders all casualties to be described as "civilians" whereas untold numbers are armed killers.

The Hamas strategy is to maximise civilian deaths and give the widest circulation to horrific pictures of mutilated children in order to turn Western opinion against Israel.

It works, with commentators spitting venom at Israel as "out of control", guilty of indiscriminate slaughter and even - obscenely - "genocide".
Why did the West turn against Israel? The conventional explanation is that, with the post-1967 "occupation", David turned into Goliath.

But as Joshua Muravchik points out in his new book, Making David into Goliath: How the World Turned Against Israel, China's oppression of Tibet didn't produce the same reaction.

Muravchik presents an illuminating analysis to try to explain the inexplicable. In a nutshell, the Arab and Muslim world set out to bend the Western mind - and succeeded.

Muravchik records how, in the '60s, the newly-formed PLO terrorist group learned from Algeria to present the enemy as not only Israel but also "world imperialism," and the Palestinian cause as a struggle for liberation.

The conflict was redefined from Arabs v Israel to Israel v Palestinians. The former Arab collaborators of Hitler and Goebbels were transformed into the comrades of such romanticised figures as Ho Chi Minh and Che Guevara. Annihilatory Palestinian terrorism became chic. Giving the Palestinians a state became the holy grail of enlightened opinion.

The role played by terrorism and the oil weapon, the hijacking of the UN by the Arab bloc, the malign influence of such figures as the academic rewriter of Islamic history Edward Said, not to mention the appalling growth of the Israel-hating Israeli left, all this and more is part of the story.

I would add the prevailing climate of consequentialism, which means all that matters is outcomes, regardless of the motivation of those producing those outcomes. As a result, people look at the imbalance of casualties between Israel and Gaza and conclude that Israel's actions must therefore be disproportionate.

And yet, and yet. More than 200,000 have been killed in Syria, some 700 last week alone, not to mention hundreds in Iraq and elsewhere. So what is it that drives so many to demonise Israel's army - described by Britain's former commander in Afghanistan Richard Kemp as "the most moral amy in the history of warfare" - as monstrous and deliberate child killers?

This thing ultimately defies rational explanation. As Islamist savagery spreads, the moral depravity of the Western animus against Israel and the Jews can only be described as a metaphysical psychosis.

"PROPHECY PRESSURES MOUNTING" BY THE EXCELLENT TERRY JAMES FROM HIS SPLENDID "PROPHECY LINE".

New post on Terry James Prophecy Line

Prophecy Pressures Mounting

by Terry James
Periodically taking a look at the developing big picture, in snapshot fashion, is efficacious to best serving as watchmen of the prophetic clock. With this in mind, let’s–in general terms--examine several current matters of interest so far as might concern Bible prophecy.
Pressures are mounting that indicate increasingly swift movement toward accomplishment of the globalist agenda, in my view. This isn't shocking, considering all of the other end-of-the-age signals we consistently observe in these columns. The unusual thing I find that activates the sirens of alert is that there is no one, attention-grabbing issue or event that stands out while looking upon the march of eschatological possibilities. All are profound, when viewed in prophetic light, yet they meet in confluence and flow through our daily news without raising much of an alarm, even among those of us who make observing these matters our primary area of work.
We are witnessing a flood of such issues and events. It is at the moment a controlled flood, but a flood nonetheless. I’m convinced it is the beginnings of a torrent that will gush ungoverned once Christ says “come up here” to the Church.
Daniel framed the warning of that flood for the generation that would be living witness to the end of the age:
“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined” (Dan 9:26).
Daniel was told further: “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased (Dan. 12:4a).
The flood that the prophet was told would come at the end will be a war that will reach its terminus only after desolation is accomplished--i.e., it will end only with Christ’s catastrophic intervention into the murderous affairs of mankind at the end of Armageddon (Rev. 19:11).
We hear these days, even from secular pundits, that we are already in World War Three, but just don’t realize it yet. For my part, I can’t shake the impression that the attacks on America on September 11, 2001 might have been the first of the major salvos from satanic forces opening up the spigots of the end-times flood given Daniel to prophesy to this present generation.
With that as framework, let’s look briefly at the pressures building for bringing in that flood about which Daniel the prophet was given forewarning.
The Babylonian system is with this generation; it has been present within every generation. The system of moving back toward Babel, that is, toward one world government, socio-economics, and religion has never been as evident as today.
The system of humanistic government, represented in prophetic Scripture by the metallic image of Daniel, chapter 2, the weird beast of Daniel, chapter 7, the strange creature upon which the harlot rides in Revelation, chapter 12, and the beast that comes out of the sea in Revelation, chapter 13, is on the rise while the pressures of ancient Luciferian ambitions force end-times prophetic manifestations to the surface of our headlines.
All of it is wrapped in globalist thinking. We are marching back toward the one-world attempts in Genesis, chapter 11, that brought God’s direct intervention those many millennia ago.
Attempts at establishing one world government proceeds full-steam ahead. One world economy is the driving force behind the attempts to recapture the spirit of Babel. Both global government and economy are intertwined with a religious fervor for saving the planet from ecological disaster. The world’s most powerful governmental collective–known as the Quartet (the United States, the United Nations, the European Union, and Russia)—are doing their utmost to force their will on the main actors in the Middle East. They strive to construct a peace that will never eventuate, in the true sense. Their purpose is to govern the flow of oil and to prevent Armageddon from igniting. Global economic control is the power that can bring all into compliance –the ability to bring the burgeoning world population into subjugation through the stranglehold of buying and selling. Environmentalism is the religion that looks to be the catalyst for attempting to win the hearts and minds of the peoples of the world. Earth Day seems to be the holiday the globalists have chosen as the sacrosanct day of worship at the alter of the developing Mother Earth goddess.
Regardless of the political, cultural, and societal differences, most all religious systems seem to embrace the call to come together for the unified purpose of making life on this sphere equally livable through sustainable development. Even the Christian evangelical Rick Warren has his own PEACE plan to achieve heaven on earth.
But, all the pressures being brought upon this world to comply with the globalists' movement toward one world will produce not peace, but fulfilled prophecy. God will again intervene to put an end to the neo-Babel builders.
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure” (Psalms 2:1-5).

JOEL OSTEEN ONLY MENTIONS JESUS ONE TIME IN A YEARS WORTH OF TWEETING!!!

New post on THE WORD on The Word of Faith (a GroupBlog)

Joel Osteen Only Mentions Jesus One Time In A Years Worth Of Tweeting

by Damon Whitsell
LAKEWOOD BIG IMAGE
SOURCE: I often talk about the Christ-less Gospel of Joel Osteen. Whenever people ask me what I mean by that, I always tell them this; Joel Osteen does not talk about the Christian Gospel. Joel does not follow in the footsteps of Paul and share this message
Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve… 1 Corinthians 15:1-5
Rather, the gospel of Joel Osteen, the “good news” that he brings is that “God loves you and wants to save you from  life of mediocrity and small dreams. Therefore, if you believe in God and be obedient to him, God will give you a plan for your life that includes big dreams,  self esteem, favor, health and wealth, influence, a better job, a positive self image and a fulfilled life free of negativity”. That’s it. That’s what it’s all about. That is the sum of just about every book, every sermon, every media appearance, and every tweet of Joel Osteen, condensed into a few sentences.
That being said, there is something very important to understand about Joel Osteen: He does talk about God. A lot. You cannot accuse the man of not mentioning him because he’s all over that. Here’s the thing though- Its never really in a personal sense. Joel talk about God, but its always in a vague amorphous sense. There is certainly nothing distinctly Christian or Biblical about it. There’s nothing doctrinal or theological about the way he talks about God. Rather is an ethereal, shapeless, formless, customizable, singular being thing that is out there called God that functions like a cosmic vending machine whose sole purpose is seemingly to bless you and make your life better. Even when he mentions God, it’s not ABOUT God, but it’s about what God can do for YOU.
Why do I say “singular being”?  Simple. While mention of a “God” may be plastered all over his twitter feed, Jesus is Not. Joel Osteen rarely, if ever, mentioned Jesus. He rarely, if every, mentions Christ. This is true when you listen to his sermons, read his tweets, and listen to him on whatever talk show he’s touring. Let me give you some basic numbers
Just for kicks I did a quick survey of all Joel Osteen tweets in the last year. I can’t go further back, so we’ll stick with going back to July 8, 2013, which is a little more than a year ago. Out of Joel Osteens 806 tweets, not including any of his replies to other people, he mentions “God” 334 time.
Want to guess how many times he mentioned “Jesus”?
Once.
One time.
I figured that number seemed a little, so I exchanged the word “Jesus” for “Christ”? And know how many times Christ was mentioned?
Twice.
Two times.
In the spirit of generosity I though perhaps Joel was more comfortable using his real name “Yeshua” and searched accordingly.
No times.
How about “Lord?”
One time. And it was referring to God.
So this is where we’re at. This means that Americans most influential pastor, the guy with the biggest Church [43,000 members]. One of the most well-known and most recognized pastors with the biggest platform, out of 806 tweets this last year, in a Twitter feed that is not about his personal life, but rather serves to communicate his version of theological truths about Christianity and Faith for his 2.6 million followers…Joel Osteenmentioned Jesus in some capacity 3 times.
I don’t have access to the rest of his twitter account, but if you extrapolate the numbers, going back to 2009 when he joined, out of his 11300 tweets, he mentioned the name Jesus, God in human flesh, our great God and savior who was fully man and fully God who excruciatingly bore the wrath of the father on a cross and died and rose again in propitiation for our sins- yeah that guy… he likely only got mentioned 24 times. On a Twitter feed designed to share truth about the Christian life from a supposed Christian leader who tweets 2-4 times a day.
And know what? All three were at Easter. Nothing for the rest of the year. Which of course made me wonder “Didn’t he even mention Jesus at Christmas?” Nope.
Now of course if you look up to some of Joel’s favorite topics and main message he likes to communicate, he references to “dreams” as in to quote a recent tweet “You’re closer to seeing that dream come to pass than you think. You may not be able to see it, but it can see you.” 48 mentions.
How about “great/greatness?” as in “You have the seeds of greatness, don’t allow something small to keep you from God’s best” 365 mentions
Or how “favor” as in “Go get your favor, your dream, your victory. It has your name on it.”32 mentions
And you can put any othe rof his favorite buzzwords in a search bar, and you’ll get scores of hits.
But talk of Jesus..and his death and resurrection…his salvation…his shed blood and sin….the forgiveness he offers….his grace and mercy…his loving kindness- there’s nothing even remotely like that there.
Like I said, Christ-less

THE NEW ISIS CALIPHATE IS FULFILLING PROPHESIES AS IT GAINS GROUND. GOOD ARTICLE HERE BY JACK SMITH FROM THE "WHEN THE PIECES FIT" WEBSITE.

Islamic State fulfilling prophecies as it gains ground

Reuters.com reports of the progress of the Islamic State in its jihad across northern Iraq as it gains territory using both a “soft” and a “hard” approach. The hard approach is the use of brutal violence against its opponents followed by a public display of its victims (Read more). (One of the most gruesome examples of its brutality was the crucifixion of nine men in Syria last month.) The brutality is then used as the means to convince local towns people and villagers to submit to the dominion of its leader and join the Calipha. Reuters reports:
The Islamic State, which in June captured a vast stretch of territory in the north including the largest city Mosul, used this strategy when its fighters met armed resistance from the town of al-Alam for 13 days running. They kidnapped 30 local families and rang up the town’s most influential citizens with a simple message about the hostages: “You know their destiny if you don’t let us take over the town.” Within hours, tribesmen and local leaders caved in to save the families. The black flag of the Sunni militants, who are bent on overthrowing the Shi’ite-led Iraqi government, was soon flying over government buildings and police stations in al-Alam. Read more.
However, the paragraph in the article that caught my attention was towards the end:
Residents also report that the militants are allowing anyone who “repents” to visit the home of a local sheikh who hosts a representative of the Islamic State on Fridays after midday prayers. Those who admit they were wrong to resist the group and who pledge their allegiance receive a sheet of paper stamped with a green “Islamic State” logo guaranteeing their safety.
Does that sound anything like this most noteworthy prophecy of the “beast from the earth,” the antichrist, as he directs humanity to the first beast (Allah), and his worldwide dominion (Revelation 13:7-8 NASB)?
Revelation 13:17 (NASB) and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Residents must have a sheet of paper with the logo of the Islamic State to insure their safety. I suspect that without that same sheet of paper, the privilege of “buying and selling” will not be available as well.
Jesus come quickly.
Blessings.
Jack

"WHY AM I WATCHING ISRAEL AND GAZA?" BY DAYMOND DUCK FROM "RAPTURE READY".

Why I Am Watching Israel and Gaza

By Daymond Duck

The little book of Zephaniah (3 chapters or 53 verses) begins by prophesying the destruction of Judah (the Southern Kingdom) in the days of King Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon.  It moves on to prophecies about Judah and the nations as the day of the Lord (a term often applied to the Tribulation period that Zephaniah used more than any other prophet in the Bible) approaches and plays out. Then, it finishes with Judah’s restoration during the millennial reign of the Messiah.
These prophecies clearly have past fulfillments, but some writers think Zephaniah was saying those experiences would be small compared to a greater fulfillment in the future. One of Zephaniah’s more famous statements reads, “The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities (Israel has built a fence to protect her cities), and against the high towers” (Zeph. 1:14-16).
Dropping down to Zeph. 2:1, God told the Jews to gather themselves together (to assemble) and He calls Judah a “nation not desired.” Israel is clearly the apple of God’s eye, but this could mean she is a nation not desired by God at this time because she has rejected her Messiah. And it could also mean that she is a nation not desired by the nations of the world because they want to destroy her.
In Zeph. 2:2, God told the Jews He wants them to assemble “Before the decree bring forth (before the 7 year covenant is signed), before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you (to assemble before the Tribulation Period comes upon the Jews).
In Zeph. 2:3, God told the Jews and all who will humble themselves to “Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.” He wants the Jews and everyone on earth who will humble themselves to meet before the Tribulation Period begins to seek three things: the Lord, righteousness and meekness. Those who do may be hidden (Raptured) before the Tribulation Period begins, but after it begins it will be too late.
In Zeph. 2:4, God mentions four cities: “For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.”
God said Gaza, one of the largest and most northern cities in the Gaza Strip, will be forsaken. As I write this article, IDF planes are dropping leaflets in the northern part of the Gaza Strip for a second time advising residents to forsake their homes and clear out. The first time Israel did this, thousands of residents left, but many stayed because they were told to ignore Israel’s warnings. This time, it looks like Israel’s troops will enter the city and it remains to be seen how many people will stick around.
God said Ashkelon, a Jewish city of more than 100,000 people about 8 miles north of the Gaza Strip border, will become desolate. Its closeness to Gaza makes it a frequent target of Muslim rockets. As I write this article, more than 60 rockets have been fired at Ashkelon in recent days; an Israeli teen has been seriously injured; an Israeli man has been lightly wounded; many Jews are spending the day in bomb shelters; and some have moved to safer territory.
God said Ashdod’s residents will be driven out. More than a quarter of a million people live in Ashdod and it is about 18 miles from Gaza. As I write this, the Iron Dome Missile System has shot down 5 rockets; a Patriot missile has shot down a drone; an 8-year old boy has been slightly injured while playing in his yard; fear and anxiety are spreading in Ashdod; and Hamas has rejected an Egyptian cease fire proposal.
Kiryat Ekron is a Jewish city of slightly more than 10,000 people. It is named after the Biblical city of Ekron and it is located about the same distance from Gaza as is Ashdod. I have read of sirens sounding in Ekron and the surrounding area, but no injuries.
I can’t predict how things will play out, but a best case scenario could be another temporary suspension of hostilities. And a worst case scenario could be that this conflict spreads into a war with Israel’s neighbors (Psa. 83), including Syria (Isa. 17) and Egypt (Isa. 19), or even the Russian/Islamic invasion of Israel (Ezek. 38-39). One more thing, based on the Jewish Talmud (not the Bible) some are saying a Tetrad of blood moons are an omen of war for Israel. It is a debatable issue, but no one can deny that the first blood moon in the current Tetrad occurred on April 15, 2014 (the Feast of Passover) and the next one will occur on October 8, 2014 (the Feast of Tabernacles). Between these first two blood moons in this Tetrad war is raging.
[Last minute update: Israel is attacking the Gaza Strip from one end to the other by land, sea and air. It is too early to say that Gaza will be forsaken at this time; and Ashdod, Ashkelon and Ekron are still inhabited; but God is in control, His Word must eventually be fulfilled, war rarely goes exactly as planned and, if God allows it, I plan to keep watching Israel and Gaza.

"CURSE ISRAEL AT YOUR PERIL" BY ALAN FRANKLIN FROM "THE FREE PRESS ONLINE".

Curse Israel at your peril!
20/07/2014

Veggie Tales: "Throw them away." Israel?  "It’s about time for David and Goliath Part II."  Just a few insights from our Sunday morning service.  Nobody was bored, that's for sure!
We had a wonderful visiting American weekend speaker at Tongham Christian Fellowship, which we  attend in England.  Believers came from as far away as Eastbourne and Bristol to hear Bill Randles, pastor of Believers in Grace fellowship in Cedar Rapids,Iowa.  If only the rest of Britain and the world had been able to hear him!  Bill did a teaching day on Saturday on Jesus’ parables in Luke chapters 12-14 warning us to be ready for His coming.  Sunday morning was the icing on the cake, and it was rich icing indeed.
The following are just a few of the highlights from Bill’s Sunday teaching.  Bill went through Numbers 22, 23 and 24 – the account of Balaam, the pagan prophet.  Bill said that many looked on the Bible stories as stories with a moral, but this thinking trivialized them.  He advised people to throw away any Veggie Tales!   He said the Bible stories were far deeper and more significant and had real relevance today.
In the case of Balaam, the children of Israel were about to enter Canaan, the land promised to them by Almighty God.  God first promised the land to Abraham, confirmed it to his son Isaac, and to his grandson Jacob.  The promise was unconditional; it did not depend on anything or anyone other than God’s own word.
Foundational was one great promise:  “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you…” Genesis 12:3.  So, you curse Israel at your peril!  You will be the one who gets cursed!  How much better to bless Israel and reap a blessing yourself!
Over the next 400 years, Abraham’s descendents  became a populous nation of slaves in Egypt.  And after their miraculous deliverance and 40 tough years in the wilderness, they were camped near Jericho, ready to enter the land.
Pagans then occupying the land were terrified.  They could see the huge, orderly camp of the Israelites.
The pagan leader Balak, frightened of the Israelites, sent for the pagan prophet Balaam to come and curse them.  Balaam was 400 miles away, so a delegation went with gifts, offering him a large sum to come and curse Israel.
The relevance today is startling: Arab oil money is funding parts of the media, university departments etc. Israel is being cursed indeed!
Balaam prayed about it, and that night he heard from the true God, who told him three things:
  • Don’t go with them
  • Don’t curse the Israelites
  • I have blessed them
Clear enough?  Instead of just accepting that, Balaam prayed some more, hoping for a different answer.  Bill said:  “When you pray about what you already know, you are setting yourself up for destruction.”
He said that many Christians once knew the word of God regarding Israel perfectly well, but since it is not popular now, they have prayed about it and come out on the side of evil.  Evil is coming to a head, he said - we are in the last days and Christians have to be prepared to be counted, however unpopular it may make us.
He added that the least Christian in any church that teaches Bible prophecy knows more about what is going on in the world and the possible solutions than the UN, the experts, the Phds, the State Dept etc.  The pundits and politicians cannot see what the lowliest Christian can see clearly.  Who is going to listen to the voices telling the truth?  “God is taking down names,” Bill said.
You can read the chapters for yourself, but to cut it short, Balaam disobeyed God and went with the delegation.  Three times he tried to get God to curse Israel - but three times He blessed Israel!  Balak, the pagan prince, was furious.
Their amended plan was to corrupt Israel by sending Moabite women into the camp to seduce Israelite men and invite them to pagan services.  Pagan worship included sexual immorality.  This was tantamount to Israel destroying Israel, and the pagans were willing to offer up their own women and girls.
Pagan worship also included burning children to appease their false gods.  Does this ring a bell today?  Think of the Muslim child suicide bombers.  “They hate Jews more than they love their own children,” Bill said.
The three prophecies of Balaam are remarkable.  Some of the points in them:
  • Israel is a unique nation (Num 22:10)
  • Prophecy of Antichrist (Agag, a title like Gog or Caesar Num 24:7)
  • Prophecy of the Messiah, the Star out of Jacob (Num 24:17)
  • Prophecy of the Assyrian captivity
  • Prophecy of the west gaining power over the east (Num 24:25)
By the way, the greedy prophet Balaam came to a bad end, as will all who go against Israel.  Read Numbers chapter 31.
You can order Bill’s sermon and the Saturday teachings from the website of Tongham Christian Fellowship, which is at:
Our next teaching weekend is Sept 20 and 21, with Dr Arnold Fruchtenbaum, the much loved Jewish Bible teacher whose material is available on www.ariel.org His series on the Messiah from a Jewish Perspective is ground-breaking and will give you a solid understanding of many things in the gospels which are otherwise puzzling.  We wish every pastor would be able to hear these teachings.
  • Meanwhile, all our Sunday sermons are worth listening to! Come along and meet us in Poyle Road, Tongham, Surrey, just over the Hampshire border from Aldershot. We are not the church with the spire and stained glass. We are in the old building with the corrugated roof just up the road! Alan is speaking next on Sunday, August 24 and then on Sunday, September 28.
