GIRLS "FROM THE CRADLE" ARE STILL ALLOWED TO BE MARRIED UNDER ISLAMIC LAW!! YET ANOTHER WEIRD TEACHING FROM THIS SATANIC RELIGION!!

Islamic Law: Girls Can Be Married “Even If They Are In The Cradle”

Muslim attempts at “reformation” continue to be limited to words not actions. A few days ago, efforts to set a minimum age for marriage in Saudi Arabia “received a blow after the Grand Mufti said there was nothing wrong with girls below 15 getting married.”
Two years earlier, the justice ministry began pushing for setting a minimum age in the Arabian kingdom. According to Gulf News, “It submitted an integrated study on the negative psychological and social effects of underage marriages to religious scholars and requested a fatwa that sets a minimum age.”
However, the ulema—the “religious scholar,” the learned ones of Islamic law—responded by totally ignoring the request. Saudi Arabia’s highest religious authority, its Grand Mufti, Sheikh Abdul Aziz, shrugged the whole matter off by saying “There is currently no intention to discuss the issue.” In other words, case closed.
Although the brief Gulf News report focuses on the age 15, going back to earlier reports when the justice ministry began bringing this issue up, one discovers that the issue at stake is full-blown pedophilia.
Back in 2011, for example, Dr. Salih bin Fawzan, a prominent cleric and member of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, issued a fatwa asserting that there is no minimum age for marriage and that girls can be married “even if they are in the cradle.”... KEEP READING

FROM THE BACK COVER:
This final Volume features the Hyper Charismatic and Pentecostal Movements represented by a variety of names and leaders. This supposed "new move of the Holy Spirit" coined as the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) is also known as Third Wave, Manifest Sons of God, Latter Rain, Kingdom Now, Word Faith, Fresh Fire, and has many other names!
Poignant testimonies of former members recount the subtle ways they were enticed into believing they were part of something "new" God was doing, only to come to the sober realisation that they had been ensnared by unholy spirits. Through careful Biblical analysis, well known experts help unravel the tragedy of growing deception in the Church masquerading as Revival, Renewal and vibrant New Christianity.
Caryl Matrisciana, who grew up for almost 20 years in India, insightfully explains how India's Eastern Mysticism is being practiced by millions of unsuspecting Christians in most mainline denominations. 2000 years ago, in conjunction with the birth of the church, Gnostic heresy (the foundation of Eastern Mysticism) attempted to creep in. Today, it presents itself as Western Mystical Spirituality and by hijacking Christian terminology, its "doctrines of demons", warned about in 1 Tim 4:1, is deluding the Church.
What is being experienced by many Christians is similar to the mysticism practiced within Eastern philosophy. False teachers who consider they are "new anointed Prophets and Apostles" promote extra-Biblical supernatural signs and lying wonders, heavenly encounters, communication with "angelic" beings, dreams and visions, counterfeit healings, extra-Biblical revelations, sensual experiences, and militant spiritual warfare. Millions of their followers are unaware they are operating through demonic powers. So-called Christian leaders spread their anti-biblical teachings through "Christian TV", social media, global Christian concerts and conferences. Their beliefs of taking over the world (Dominionism) through "revival" oppose Bible prophecy which predicts an end-time spiritual deception and falling away from Biblical Faith.

The New Testament urges Believers not to be carried away by the error of unprincipled teachers, fleshy desires or sensuality (2 Pet. 3:17 & 2:18). The enemy preys on desires to "go deeper" and experience "more" of God, which can open doorways to occult, mystical practices rampant in today's Church. This volume urges Christians be on guard so they are not "led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ." (2 Cor. 11:4). They're encouraged to live by Biblical Faith relying on the promises of God which provide all riches in Christ.

"WHY BIBLE PROPHECY IS IMPORTANT" FROM "THE END TIME" WEBSITE.

Why prophecy is important (The world is unraveling)

I love prophecy. To me, it is the clearest identifier of God as sovereign over the universe, the earth, humans, and time. He writes history in advance, because He is king of all, and what He says will come to pass.

I also love studying the bible. I believe it is the highest and best use of time, to get to know the attributes of the LORD, to seek His face through what He has told us. If you want 'direct revelation', the bible cannot be beat for informing us of our Lord and King, Jesus.

The bible is knowable and understandable to the Christian. We have the Holy Spirit in us to illuminate His word to us. (Ephesians 1:17-18). The Holy Spirit teaches us spiritual things. (1 Corinthians 2:10-13). Of course there are some things in the bible we cannot understand, such as the Trinity, One God in three Persons. We cannot understand the Spirit's overcoming Mary and producing a child. We do not understand all the ways in which God thinks. However, for the most part, the doctrines upon which He has given to us, are understandable.

One such doctrine is the doctrine of eschatology. This is the doctrine of 'last things', or end times. Just because there are many people who won't or can't understand the various threads of prophecy does not mean there exists confusion about what He plans to do. The pre-tribulation rapture is one of these understandable doctrines, clearly outlined in the bible to those who care to learn. Some people say Revelation is difficult, I find it easy to understand. I do find Daniel difficult, but that does not stop me from studying it, nor from turning to other scripture to help me interpret Daniel's book. It can be done, and it has been done. Oliver B. Greene's commentary on Daniel is wonderful. John MacArthur's book "Because the Time is Near" is a clear explanation of Revelation.

Even this is a doctrine! It is called the Perspicuity of Scripture. According to the Theopedia, the perspicuity of scripture means,
The doctrine of the clarity of Scripture (often called the "perspicuity of Scripture") teaches that "the meanings of the text can be clear to the ordinary reader, that God uses the text of the Bible to communicate His person and will."
"The witness of the Church throughout the ages is that ordinary people, who approach it in faith and humility, will be able to understand what the Bible is getting at, even if they meet with particular points of difficulty here and there."

Yet there are some people who refuse to believe the doctrines of last things, because so many other people are mixed up over them. 'They can't be understood, so why try?' I was told by one man in church. "I'm a pan-tribber, it'll all work out in the end," he said.

Illustrator, Chris Koelle, The Book of Revelation
That is a highly offensive statement, and I said so to his face. It is a blight on Jesus, the Spirit, and God who inspired it, and all the Apostles who wrote the inspired word, and all the martyrs who protected it, to be so blatantly dismissive of 30% of God's holy doctrines. Jesus did not reveal last things to John, nor the angel to Daniel, so God's people could mock them.

Did you know that every NT book except Philemon mentions last things?

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, (2 Timothy 3:16)

So I was so pleased when John MacArthur was asked about eschatology in his latest Q & A session at Grace Community Church. In Q&A session #62 it was stated by the interviewer that they had received more than a dozen questions regarding eschatology.

First, MacArthur noted that a church without a solid understanding of eschatology has got a huge loose end. Here are MacArthur's words on the importance of the church understanding and teaching last things:
a church without a solid biblical eschatology, meaning understanding of the end of history has got a huge loose end. It’s huge. I said something about that this morning when I was kind of wrapping up. I said, the Jews wanted to force all the prophesies regarding the Messiah into His first coming. We have Christians who want to take all the prophesies concerning Christ and push them back into His first coming. They’re called pretrerists, amillenialists. So they have this theology with this totally open end. It just has no closure. They don’t seem to care particularly. It’s almost like a badge of Reformed loyalty to be unsure about how everything ends.
I am running into this attitude more frequently, the badge of loyalty to uncertainty. "I'm super-spiritually humble because I refuse to state how things will end." Or, "I'm super tolerant of all the different interpretations, because who am I to say dogmatically? It's all just beyond little ole me." Uncertainty is the new loyalty. But is that right? Is that honoring to Jesus? Here's more from MacArthur.
I don’t know about you, but that doesn’t work well with me. First of all, I don’t think God gave a clear beginning and just kind of lost Himself at the end. I don’t think if Genesis 1 says that God created in six days and there’s no question about it, and He lays out exactly how He did it; and you get to the book of Revelation and you hear about periods of certain weeks and certain months and certain years and a thousand year millennium, and then an eternal state. I don’t think God lost His way at the end. I don’t think He was confused at the end. I think the end is as precise as the beginning. To be honest with you, I am far more concerned about the end than I am the beginning. The beginning is over. I’m glad it was what it was, and it explains why things are the way they are.
This is an important point. God did not state it clearly in the beginning and then back away from clarity for the end. He is just as clear in Revelation as He was in Genesis.

Source
As for the people who say, 'There are so many interpretations, it's just best to let go and let God. It'll all work out in the end, anyhow,' I say that's just a bunch of lazy hooey. There are not many views of last things. There is only one view, God's view, and He has shared it with us.
But I don’t think you can over estimate the value of a church with a clear ecclesiology and a clear eschatology. Clear understanding of the church, and a clear understanding of what the Bible says about how things are going to end. It does say something. It doesn’t say everything, and it doesn’t say whatever you want it to say. It doesn’t have ten views or five views or four views. There’s just one view.
MacArthur went on to describe a wonderful moment in Kazakhstan some years ago. Kazakhstan is east of Mongolia and north of Turkey. It is around the world. He was asked to teach 1600 men at a pastor's conference. MacArthur taught 8 hours a day for 6 days a week. The men were hungry for the word, to be taught. They had been behind the Iron Curtain and now were released into more freedoms, including the freedom to practice religion, and to gather. They'd been denied a congregation, education, commentaries, access to internet or anything resembling study aids. They had each other, and the bible...and the Holy Spirit. So they wanted to know about all the doctrines, including eschatology.

MacArthur said,
I laid out; I went through the book of Revelation systematically and showed them the end. They said to me after that – I took a day to do that. The end of that day they said, “You believe what we believe.” I said, “I believe what you believe?” Same Bible. Guess what? It’s so clear that people with no training, no seminary, and no commentaries could understand what the book of Revelation said.
The reason I gave you the illustration about Kazakhstan is because that is as alien a place as you could ever be. Thirty-five hours to get there. You step off the plane. I’ve never been there. I don’t know what’s going on. I teach them a whole day on the end times, and they tell me that’s exactly what they believe. How did they come to that? They don’t have seminaries. They don’t have books. They don’t have anything. That’s what the Bible says. You have to go to school and listen to somebody who deceives you toundo that because that’s what’s there.
MacArthur has said before that any believer who landed on a desert island with nothing else except his bible can and would understand eschatology. The 1,600 Kazakhstan men were as close to desert island as you can get in this modern world, and eschatology was made understandable to them- because they studied it.

As a note, what a glory it is that we believers have this unifying thread! What a moment of recognition between a Scottish-descended pastor from Sun Valley CA and Kazakhstani men isolated behind the iron curtain, to know each other as brothers! This unifying thread is the holy word, the Bible.

For men to say, 'Ack, it's all too much for me, it'll all work out in the end, anyway,' is a direct rejection of the wonder of being able to recognize and commune with brothers via a common and eternal understanding of God's word, wherever you are on earth.

Rejecting eschatology is also a rejection of the work that the Spirit has done in men that He has raised up. Many resources are out there, as I mentioned, commentaries, sermons, books, timelines...it is all there for us.

To continue what MacArthur said about eschatology,
I think it matters how it all ends. I think God is glorified when we acknowledge Him as the Creator, the beginning; and I think He is glorified when we acknowledge Him as the consummator, the end. I think that’s a huge benefit for Christians looking at the world and wondering where is this going? Where is this going?

In talking to Al Mohler when I was back there a few weeks ago, he said he’s more eschatological than he’s ever been. He’s almost apocalyptic because he sees a world that just there is no way to reverse this. This thing is in a massive free fall, and there is no way to stop this. He’s pretty well-attuned to the way things are, and he says, “I’ve never felt so eschatological, so apocalyptic about the way the world is going.” Well, if you want to understand where the world is going, you can as a believer. That gives us such a powerful confidence that all that is coming is laid out for us on the pages of Scripture. I think that’s a treasure that a church can’t underestimate.
Do not reject the treasure of eschatology. It is just as much a treasure as the Psalms and the Gospels. Do not reject the work we are to do through eschatology. We have the answer to how it will all end. Lost people are confused and frightened about where this world is headed. We know it. Do not be afraid to study, and then to share.

What message does it send when a mature man of the faith in church makes a public statement dismissing eschatology? It tells the next generation that it is not worth studying, and bible illiteracy increases, just at the time when the next generation may be the very generation to see these things come to pass and could have been more fervent and diligent about sharing the truth with lost and confused people.

John MacArthur is a unique individual and is in a unique position. It was common in the old days for a pastor to stay for decades. Not so any more, where the average pastoral stay is 5 years or less. MacArthur has been at Grace Church for 46 years. He is 75 years old. He has seen history unfold, prophecy fulfilled and apostasy rise. He said,
I’m seeing this world unravel. There doesn’t seem to be any way back. I mean this is totally out of control. This is a free fall down a black hole. So, you can’t just say, “Well, eschatology doesn’t matter.” That is not helpful. People want answers. Where is this thing going? It’s not fair to God, it’s a dishonor to God to say, “Well, the Bible is not clear.” It is clear. It is absolutely clear.
Yes, it is sad and offensive that there are so many people who refuse to study last things. Those who dismiss the Spirit's work in inspiring that portion of the bible are simply missing out on so much glory. It is also sad that so many brethren have unfortunately come to different understandings of what God clearly laid out. But does that mean we reject it all? Does that mean that is is useless for us individually to study it? No.
I just wish that the church was unified on what the Bible says. I don’t like it that there are Christians who don’t believe in Creation, but believe in some form of evolution. I think that dishonors God and confuses people. I don’t like it that there are Christians who don’t accept what the Bible says about the end either. But I think it’s wonderful that we do, and the answers are there.
God's word has all the answers, including last things. Please do not be afraid to jump in and read, learn, pray, and receive illumination from the Spirit. Do not be afraid to seek credible, quality study aids. Always remember the perspicuity of scripture. The bible is clear.

A GOOD PIECE HERE TITLED "THE SIN BUG" BY MARK GREENWOOD.

The Sin Bug by Mark Greenwood.

There is such a concern for a “pure” church among many leading Christians that works has been added to grace in order to sift out the tares from the wheat.  Now we are told that before we can even think about trusting in Jesus we must renounce all sin and turn from sin.  We must confess all sin and obey God in everything.
This is not the pure gospel and neither will it produce a pure church but rather a hybrid church, one that Christ rejects when He returns.
In Matthew 7 v 21-23 we read of religious people who were doing many works in Jesus’ name.  When Christ rejected them all they could point to was their works, they thought they were doing His work, yet they had no idea what the true work of God was.  Christ said that He never knew them, they weren’t even saved.  They had mixed grace and works, not once did they mention what Christ had done for them only what they had done for Christ.
Jesus Christ said that to enter the kingdom of heaven we must do the will of His Father.
So what is the will of God and what works must we do to enter heaven?
The Bible says,
“And this is His commandment; that we believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another” (1 John 3 v 23).
“Jesus answered and said to them, this is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom He has sent” (John 6 v 29).

Ephesians 2 v 8 says that it is by grace we are saved, through faith, and that not of ourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast.
Salvation is by believing on Jesus, trusting Him to save us, not by trusting in any works we do.  When we believe on Jesus He gives us His life in order that we might love one another.
Before becoming a Christian the biggest problem in a person’s life is sin.  Sin will keep us separated from God and out of heaven.  There is nothing that we can do of ourselves to change our sinful nature, can a leopard change its spots?  The Bible says that Jesus has come to save us from our sins, the question is, do we want saving from our sins?
Sins are enjoyable to our carnal nature; we get much pleasure from our sins, What about the benefits we get from sinning? Do we really want Jesus to save us now from our sins?  Perhaps on our death bed so we can go to heaven but not now when we are enjoying ourselves.
If this is how we think then we need to change the way we think.

Do we really want to receive His life now, to have our sins taken away now, to be made into a new person where all the old things have passed away and all things become new?
If we really want to be saved now then first we need to acknowledge that we have sinned and recognise that we need a Saviour; that we cannot save ourselves.
Jesus Christ is the Son of God who has died to pay the price of our sins and to free us now from the power of sin, the Bible calls us to repent which is to reconsider our thinking, change the thoughts of our heart and acknowledge the truth if we want to be free (Acts 8 v 22, 1 Timothy 2 v 4, 2 Timothy 2 v 25).  The truth is that we have sinned and cannot save ourselves, salvation can only be found in Jesus Christ, not in our good works or in anything we have done but in believing in, and trusting in, Christ alone.
Many people say that “repent” means to turn from sin and confess all sin.  The dictionary definition means to be sorry or to grieve for sins committed. The problem is that where the word “repent” is used in the Bible in the context of salvation it is a bad translation of the original Greek word.  In fact, A. T. Robertson (a famous professor in New Testament interpretation) quotes Broadus as saying it is the worst translation in the New Testament.  Robertson says that the actual meaning of repent is “to change (think afterwards) their mental attitudes”.

In other words repentance means to change our mind and attitude with afterthought.  For salvation we need to believe that Jesus is the Messiah the Son of God who has died to save us from our sins.  We need to realise that our good living or good works is redundant as far as salvation goes, only absolute trust in Jesus Christ, excluding any works of our own, can save us.  It is by God’s grace that we are saved, through faith, nothing to do with ourselves, it is all God’s gift to us, not by our works but by faith in Christ alone.
If we put our trust in Christ alone we will receive forgiveness of sins. Another word that is sometimes used in the Bible is “remission” of sins.  These two words “forgiveness” and “remission” are a translation of the same Greek word, the actual meaning of that word is that God forgives our sins and sends them away never to be remembered anymore.
When we believe on Jesus, God forgives us and removes our sins far from us but we have to receive that forgiveness by trusting that what He has said He will do (Acts 10 v 43, Acts 26 v 18, Eph. 1 v 7, Col. 1 v 14, Col. 2 v 13, 2 Cor. 5 v 19).
The Bible says,
“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us” (Psalm 103 v 12).
“And will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea” (Micah 7 v 19).
“I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more” (Jerimiah 31 v 34).
Acts 3 v 19 says, “Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out”.  The word “blotted out” means, according to Vine, “In the sense of removal, to wipe away, wipe off, obliterate”. (see also Isaiah 43 v 25).
All these words, remission, removed, blotted out are all saying the same thing that God has taken our sins away, He did this when Christ bore our sins in His body on the tree (Hebrews 9 v 28, 1 Peter 2 v 24).

God has justified the sinner by taking his sins and putting them on Jesus, then punishing Jesus for them.  He then gives us (the sinner) the righteousness of Jesus Christ.  I’ll repeat that, God takes our sins and puts them on Jesus and takes His righteousness and puts it to our account.  It is by believing and receiving this truth along with the fact that Jesus is the Son of God, that one becomes a Christian.  If we try to do anything to save ourselves it shows we do not understand this truth, therefore we need to repent and believe.
Man will always try to be independent of God, but God wants us to be absolutely dependent on Him like little children with their Father.  To put their trust in Him for everything.
Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins, how can He save us from our sins if we refuse to let them go?  Why would anyone want to hold their sins in their heart when God wants to take them far away from us never to be remembered anymore?  It is because they believe they have to do something in order to have their sins removed, to just believe in the finished work of Christ and the cleansing blood of the Lamb is not enough for them.
God has forgiven us of all our sins, past, present and future but we need to receive that forgiveness.
If, after we have received Jesus as our Saviour, we sin, Jesus is our advocate, telling the Father He has taken our sins away and we have put our trust in Him (1 John 2 v 1-2).

The Difference Between Sin and Sins

Someone once said to me that they feel like they have a bug inside that is causing them to sin.  That is right, except the bug has no power if, having believed and trusted in Jesus, we are led by the Spirit.
Let me explain, if we read the book of Romans, up to chapter 5 v 12 our sins are in view, these are our deeds or actions that fall short of Gods glory, from verse 12 onward sin (singular) is in view.  Sin is the lusts that lives in the flesh and causes us to commit sins.  When Adam sinned he lost God and lust came in causing us to sin.  For the sake of clarity many call this the sinful nature, in the book of Romans, Paul just calls it “sin”, he tells us that ‘sin reigned’ as king (Romans 5 v 21).  In Galatians Paul now calls it the lusts of the flesh and gives a whole list of the works which are manifested when lust is reigning, such as , fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, stifes, jealousies angers, contentions, disputes, schools of opinion, envy, murders, drunkennes, revels, etc.  James tells us that lust, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin. (James 1 v 15).  For the sake of clarity I will call this lusts of the flesh, the ‘sin bug’ that causes us to commit sins.
Now we have been redeemed and our sins have been dealt with on the cross, however in our flesh dwells lust or, “the sin bug”.  Our bodies have not yet been redeemed only our spirit, our bodies will be redeemed when Christ returns.

So here we have a problem, the sin bug in the flesh. Why has God left us this thorn in the side?  I believe it is that we might grow in God by learning how to overcome, live by faith, and gain the victory in our walk.   Basically it is by faith that the sin bug is dealt with.  We have to believe what God says about our position in Christ.  We have been crucified with Christ and must reckon ourselves dead to sin (that is the sin bug) and alive to God in Christ Jesus (Romans 6 v 6-14).  Not only that but Christ has freed us from the power of sin (the sin bug) (Romans 6 v 22).  We need to recognise and believe what the Bible says.  We must recognise that we are dead with Christ and our life is hid with Christ in God, the sin bug has lost all its power over the spiritual man.  That is our position as far as the sin bug is concerned.  However we are still both flesh and spirit, the Bible tells us to walk in the Spirit and we will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.  Now the sin bug would prefer us to live a religious life by the power of the flesh.  To be religious the flesh needs the law of God to rule over us, however the whole point of the law is to expose sin in our lives then bring us to the place where we realise we are not able to keep the law and we need a Saviour.  The sin bug loves us to keep under the law, you see, the sin bug gets its strength from the law (1 Corinthians 15 v 56-57), but thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ, and this victory is our faith.
Faith says we are not under law but under grace, all our sins have been forgiven and removed from us, we are dead to sin (the sin bug) and alive to God, Christ has freed us from sin therefore we should mortify the deeds of the body through the Spirit. Now we should give ourselves to God as a living sacrifice, offering the parts of our body as instruments of righteousness for His service.  If we do commit sins now, then the blood of Jesus Christ is continually cleansing us from all sins that we commit.

Now a word of warning.
When we are resting in our position in Christ, our walk or conduct needs to be an expression of God’s life in us.  The good works we now do are the ones that God has prepared for us to walk in (Ephesians 2 v 10).
The danger to any born again Christian is to listen to the mind of the flesh; the carnal mind is enmity to God.  We are in a conflict between flesh and spirit until Christ returns therefore we need to mortify the deeds of the body.  The Bible says “Let not sin reign in our mortal bodies that we should obey it in the lusts thereof” (Romans 6 v 12).
If we live after the flesh we will die.  Don’t sow to the flesh.
We should be constantly watching and praying.  We should know that without Christ we can do nothing.  Without Christ we will fail.
Finally when sin is dealt with there is still the bigger matter of “self” to deal with.  That monster that exalts itself, instead of abhorring itself, that boasts in its knowledge and achievements instead of the cross of Christ.
Deny self and take up the cross daily until Jesus returns.  It is natural to justify self, especially when falsely accused, the problem is that this could easily result in exalting self. In the Bible we read that Job kept himself from sinning until his friends came with accusations and then he naturally justified himself.  When God appeared to him he realised his insignificance in comparison to God’s righteousness and said he abhorred himself and repented in dust and ashes.
God will justify those who believe in Jesus Christ.
We must decrease and Christ must increase in our lives.
Keep our eyes off self and onto Jesus Christ.
Above all keep humble and contrite.

"THREE LIES" BY PETER TIMMINS FROM "RAPTURE READY".

Three Lies
Peter T. Timmins
“And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:4-5).
The two verses above constitute the first three recorded lies in all of human history. To our great detriment they were believed, which lead to the fall of all mankind and introduced corruption to all of God’s perfect creation. What this article is about is how the pursuit of the false promises contained in those three lies are still, to this day being used by the enemy to deceive people.
First let’s analyze just what these three lies contain, and see how they relate to the conditions that were in effect when they were said. The first lie was, “Ye shall not surely die.” This implies immortality will be obtained by eating the fruit. The lie in this is that it had the exact opposite effect. Prior to this there was no death in the world. Adam and Eve were already in an immortal state and so this was patently false in two respects.
First, it could not give them this because not only did they already possess it, but on top of that Satan does not have the power and authority to bestow this on anyone if they don’t have it. The result of believing this lie had the opposite effect by taking away from them the very thing it promised to give, eternal life. When you think about it like this then you can see the sheer evil and hatred towards us that the enemy has.
The second lie was, “Then your eyes shall be opened.” The implication here is the gaining of secret knowledge. The lie in this is complex. The reality of their existence at that time was that they literally walked with God and interacted with Him on a personal basis face to face. Since the creation was without corruption at that time it was possible for them to do this. That means they had a close personal relationship with the Creator.

That access afforded them the most complete and accurate source of all knowledge. In other words because they could literally ask God anything, they in effect knew everything. By eating the fruit they lost this personal face to face relationship with God and their source of the knowledge of everything. Another “promise” that in reality had the exact opposite effect by taking from them that which they already had to begin with. Once again we see the hatred the enemy has for God and us contained in this lie.
The third lie was, “And ye shall be as gods.” This plays on their genuine and understandable desire to be like the One they interact with, God. I mean who doesn’t want to be more like God? We all want to emulate those which we love and respect. First of all, besides God they knew no one else so there was no one else to want to emulate. Second, if you want to emulate someone, who better than God?
We, as Christians are always striving to be more “Christ-like” so it is understandable why this would be so appealing. The enemy understood this from his own lusts and desires and used it in order to trick Eve. He knew first hand that this was an impossibility because if it was possible then he would have already done it.
The enemy also gives them a quasi-promise tied to the second and third, “knowing good and evil.” This was actually true. After eating the fruit they did know the difference between good and evil. The enemy knew this would occur but also knew that selfishness and unchecked desire would accompany this knowledge. His own experience proved it to him so it was a safe bet from his perspective. He also knew that this would make it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to continuously act in accordance to the will of God.
In other words, he knew it would cause a rift between God and mankind and therefore give him the opening he needed to continue to defy God. Another reason this promised worked is because in their innocent state they had no experience with evil so were ignorant of its capabilities and consequences. The best analogy for this state of innocence and how Satan used it to his advantage I can think of is the 2009 movie, The Invention of Lying.

So, what we have are three outright lies and one truth that is not fully understood due to an absence of a point of reference. The enemy actually made a safe bet in coming to Eve with these lies and unexplained truth. He knew that even if she didn’t do it that he would be no worse off than before, and if she did that it would cause an irreparable rift (in his mind at least), a rift between God and mankind. So, how is the enemy using these same three lies against people today?
The biggest and most obvious forms of these lies today can be found in the New Age Movement. When you boil it all down, virtually every aspect of the New Age Movement is some form of trying to achieve at least one of the three original lies, with the vast majority being a combination of the second and third.
Selling the first is a hard thing to do these days so it has shifted for the most part to be a long extension of life instead of immortality. The enemy knows that ever since he pulled this off the first time that mankind in its entirety has always tried to reacquire that close personal relationship to God.
Even atheists are trying to do it by claiming there is no God, since that elevates them to the level of godhood. The enemy understands we have this innate desire to have a close personal relationship with God and is using this knowledge against us. The big lie in the New Age Movement is that it falsely promises to reestablish this relationship. Satan knows that there is no way to do this except thru our faith in Jesus and repentance.
However, because of all the work he has done thru the ages, especially in the last 150 years, he knows that many people will follow his path. These advances that the enemy has made in the past 150 years or so all revolve around Darwinism.

The way Darwinism has greatly accelerated this advance of the enemy is that it has taken God out of the creative process. Once you remove God as being the One who created us it becomes much easier to remove Him from all other aspects of our lives. This banishment of God leaves a vacuum that is quickly filled by satanically inspired ideas. The really sad part to this is that many of the people who believe and advance evolution don’t realize the true source. In other words they are useful idiots.
The belief in evolution is also deeply rooted in virtually all New Age ideas. You would be hard pressed to find a New Ager of any sort who is also a young earth creationist. The two positions are diametrically opposed. The disproven ideas of evolution have even wormed its way into so- called Christian churches. In doing this it has taken on a few basic forms. These forms range from the wholehearted acceptance of evolution, to some form of having the days of creation in the Bible not literally 24 hour days.
But instead great expanses of time between events in order to allow evolution to occur, or some form of Divinely directed and guided evolutionary process, or a combination of these, especially the last two. All of these are contrary to the Word of God and found in Scripture and are therefore untrue. I touched on this in my earlier article “Four Steps to the End and how this progressively leads to the current state of societal affairs as outlined in Romans 1:18-32.
Bottom line, the New Age Movement is anything but new, and is in fact nothing more than the same three lies the enemy used against Eve but with a new coat of paint. He keeps using these three lies because they have proven to be effective for him. As Bible believing Christians we need to be aware of these lies and know how to repudiate them to those around us. If you have loved ones involved in any aspects of the New Age Movement you need to try to get them to see the truth.

Even something as “harmless” as doing yoga for exercise purposes is too much since it is all based on Hinduism. There are many great resources out there to help you with this, starting with the Bible you carry. One resource I have found useful to help show how this is actually part of Satan trying to deceive people is the video Age of Deceit: Fallen Angels and the New World Order. [1]
Whether you use this resource or another is really unimportant. The important thing is to be aware of this tactic and how to combat it. As we rapidly approach the end of the Church Age it is imperative that we ramp up our efforts against the enemy before we are removed and he is given free reign over those left behind.
And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:6-12).
Note: I know many will think, and some will even email me, as to why I didn’t take this to the next step and explain how this deception and New age garbage is connected with the enemy activity in the UFO and alien abduction phenomenon. I know of this connection and think it is the most probable explanation he will use after the Rapture to explain why we were taken away and that he and his minions are here to help us. However, in the interest of space I purposely didn’t go there but will probably do so in a future article.

MORE REPORTS OF MUSLIM PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS BY THE IMPRESSIVE RAYMOND IBRAHIM.

Christians and Churches Attacked in the West: Muslim Persecution of Christians, September 2014

Gatestone Institute
The Muslim persecution of Christians in September made prominent appearances not just in the Islamic world, but also in the West—in America, Australia and Europe.
In the United States, in Columbus, Indiana, three churches were vandalized on the same night. The words most frequently sprayed were “Infidels!” and “Koran 3:151.” The verse from the Koran states, “We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve [or "infidels"] for what they have associated with Allah [reference to Christian Trinity] of which He had not sent down [any] authority. And their refuge will be the Fire, and wretched is the residence of the wrongdoers.”
Father Doug Marcotte of Saint Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, one of those vandalized, said, “There’s a lot of bad stuff being done in the name of Allah and so when people see this happening in Columbus, whether that was truly the person’s intent or there’s something else going on, it makes people nervous. It makes people upset. It makes them scared.”
Meanwhile, in Australia, AAP reported that “Church-goers in Sydney’s west have been left shaken after a stranger shouted death threats from a car bearing the Islamic State flag. The car drove past Our Lady of Lebanon Church at Harris Park on Tuesday and witnesses claim it had a flag similar to those brandished by Islamic State jihadists hanging out the window.” A church official said the people in the car threatened to “kill the Christians” and slaughter their children: “They were strong words and people were scared of what they saw.” Witnesses saw a flag outside the window with the words, “There is only one god and Muhammad is the prophet.” And as happens frequently in Muslim-majority nations, police security was later dispatched to patrol the Harris Park church while hundreds partook of mass inside.
In Denmark—2013′s “happiest country in the world“—Christians of Middle Eastern backgrounds continued to experience “harassment, verbal attacks and in some cases direct violence from Muslims,” reports TV2, especially in Muslim-majority areas, such as Nørrebro. One Christian, “Jojo,” born in Denmark of Lebanese parents, shared her experiences. Once when sitting in her parked car, several Muslims surrounded it, harassing her about her Western attire. When one of them noticed she was wearing a cross, he said “Well, you have a cross on—then you are also a Christian f*ing whore. Do you know what we do to people like you? Do you know what we do to people like you? You get stoned [to death].”
Another Christian woman of Iranian background recounted how she and her son are harassed on the Muslim-majority block where they live—and where she stands out for not wearing a hijab, the Islamic veil: “My son is being called everything. I get called all sorts of things. Infidel. Filthy Christians. They tell me I ought to be stoned to death. My son was beaten at the bus stop. He was called pig, dirty potato (Muslim slang for Danes), and that ‘you and your mother should die.”‘
Islamic dreams of conquering Europe were prevalent. A senior analyst in Spain warned that, because Islamists see the Iberian peninsula as being “under Spanish and Portuguese occupation,” greater risk of terrorism exists there than in other Western areas. Because Iberia—or, in Arabic, Al-Andalus—was under Islamic domination for centuries, many Muslims consider it part of the Islamic world, or Dar al-Islam, which needs to be reconquered, no less than Israel, also seen as occupied Islamic territory.
More pointedly, in the Islamic State [IS], in a lengthy message partially addressed to the “crusaders”—a reference to the West—some members declared, “We will conquer your Rome, break your crosses, and enslave your women, by the permission of Allah.” Members of the IS also invoked a statement attributed to Muhammad, that Constantinople would be conquered before Rome—and it was, in 1453. The implication is that the Eternal City of Rome is next.
Around the same time, Rome responded by rejecting a motion to name a street after the late Oriana Fallaci, a veteran journalist who had once written that, “the Muslim world is attempting to conquer the West in the name of Islam.” In explaining their decision, local politicians described Fallaci’s writings as containing “religious hatred,” or “Islamophobia.”
In Canada, while 80 special Muslims went to the trouble of attending a Muslim rally on behalf of persecuted Christians, another rally, an extremist Al Quds Day Anti-Israel Hate Fest, drew approximately 6,000 participants.
The rest of September’s roundup of Muslim persecution of Christians around the world includes (but is not limited to) the following accounts, listed by theme and country alphabetical order, not necessarily according to severity.
